BB RIM Vs. MMO's

senadinsenadin Member UncommonPosts: 247

If you happen to own of those devices from RIM in the last few days you may have been rather pretty pissed. 3 days with some services interrupted and this thing is over the news.

Now considering RIM only makes the devices and the software that comes with it chances are most folks wont bother calling their cell phone provider and ask for a refund... or a 3 day compensation for service lost. Ohh sure some folks will spend the 3 hours or so it takes/took to get thru to bitch and complain that this is outrageous and that RIM is ripping them off etc etc... You know, the end of the world right? They will bitch that they lost thousands in contracts revenues! Well you know THOSE people!

Now take those 3 days with service issues and put them in ANY MMO!

OMG.... YEP! you've seen it, i've seen it. Damn have we ever became such a bunch of self entitled princesses! Sorry as i was monitoring and checking my cell sites today i could not help but to think for a moment that we are rather spoiled with a hobby that is very cheap (if not free or damn close in many cases).

Seriously, next time your favorite MMO is down for whatever reason, take a breath, take a walk outside and think for a moment that it really could be a lot worse.

$0.50 a day for an MMO subscription. Even less in several games now too. Sometimes, it's $0.33/day or even $0.26/day in one game!

That is, if they even charge a subscription anymore.

Played: SWG, SWG:NGE, EQ2, Vanguard, LotRO, WoW, Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, Dark Age of Camelot, Mortal Online, Rift, Guild Wars, Fallen Earth, EVE Online, Ryzom, Dungeons and Dragons Online, World of Tanks, Aion, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2
