Originally posted by Darkbackward I'm changing my mind on vanguard. The server specific rule set should be tossed out. We can rp and tk on our own, we don't need any help from a server. Vanguard is also considering "premium" servers. This is wretched stank that was created by everquest, IT WILL NOT BE PURSUED.
Darkbackward is a destroyer. What did it change in your life if peoples dont raid on another ''non-raiding'' server and are as uber then you on this ''non-raiding'' server? Or are you not really a hardcore and more a cry baby? Basically you are asking that only ''ironman'' server get the rewards, which would be killing the game in itself, ''ironman'' are the only to get the rewards in the ironman setting.
Premium, if someone want to pay more to get loot and uberer stuff, I can respect RL money and move aside, as long as they dont come glowing on my noobish server in order to destroy everything anymore then the I can walk on raiding servers and show off with equal gear earned without raiding. They are uber, away from me, on their specific servers, since they pay many times my amount fees, they dont play the same game. Raiders paying the same fees have no more or less loot, the way to acquire them is different on their far away server, dont affect me and I dont affect them either, we pay same monthlee fees.
Every play style have a right to have a server that fit their tastes without affecting the others, you can stick to whatever you belong. If players flock to non-raiding servers, it will only show they are not raiders and they want to earn their stuff doing others stuff then raiding, which is a customer privilege! Since they dont affect your raiding servers, you should not care about it.
Make no mistakes, players will not flocks to Vanguard without those specific servers, players are sick of the must raid attitude and WoW is going to increase our ranks beyond my wildest dreams!

Hell no. I'll be right there with you man. I can't believe this game is being so over-looked. Looks like great graphics, superb gameplay, a unique idea to prevent the kind of problem that plagues games like EQ, Asherons Call, and even DAoC after they have been out so long that a new player enters and feels overwhelmed by seeing nothing by maxed out level players. With Mourning's idea to eventual player death and passing on traits to a new avatar... this should eliminate this problem! Looks like a great game.
I'm looking forward to the Star Trek MMO... even though it's quite a ways off. That's about it to be honest. Nothing else really interests me. I *might* try Auto Assault since I play Jumpgate which is also made by NetDevil.
Those waiting for AutoAssault might consider checking out Jumpgate as it's quite different from anything the MMO world has provided thus far. It's a lot of fun, although the playerbase is small.
Well, Guild Wars of course, been following that game for awhile, but I'd prefer not to consider that part of this topic, seeing as how it isnt' an MMORPG.
Also, I'm looking forward to Roma Victor actually, personally I love history, and an MMORPG in the Roman days sounds pretty cool, not to mention their "real money for in-game cash" idea sounds pretty nifty, they'll adjust for inflation and such, it sounds very intriguing. I'm keeping my eye on that game.
Also, Tabula Rosa seems like a distant thing for me to watch, but I probably won't be playing it if I'm already looking at GW, RV, and possibly WoW in my future.
