Gunna say some of both, the AD team said the other day that they have people using a 32 mb card!! (32 mb!!!!!) to run this game. Now if that's not a stable game I don't know what is.
At some point in the near future I plan on building a new comp for gaming, based on nForce 4 and PCI-E technology.
It would be useful to know about any issues with certain g-gards, mboards and so on, and also, just how well the new 16 pipeline technology and pixel shading 3.0 will be utilised in DnL.
Especially important will be server location and lag issues, when in built up areas with lots of players running about or fighitng.
HP PAVILION A700Y Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Intel(R) Pentium 4 2.8Ghz 512 MB DDR/PC2700 (1 DIMM) 80 GB 7200 RPM Ultra DMA HARD DRIVE 128MB GeForce FX5700 LE (PCI)
From what I understand you don't need a great computer to actually play. There will be a host of detail settings.
However the better your comp the better it will run and look, obviously. I have no idea what you'll need to see the game as shown in all the screen shots.
BM, your comp should be fine, although you can also use more RAM, never have too much of that, well unless you have certain versions of windows.

Yes, the AD team has said they even have one beta tester running an onboard 32 mb vid card. yours will be able to run it.
Have you seen the E3 2004 video, the best so far. A dragon actually picks up someone with his mouth and throws them off into the distance. Oh and the music is great. My favorite part is the very end when it shows the distant isolated mountains.

Those are gorgeous. Are they taken on top of the line PCs or mid priced?

I just downloaded and looked at this new video of the world engine. It looks great and is worth looking at.
Download is a pain, though, with slow overloaded server. Even with broadband, I only got a 5k/s download speed
