[Poll] I hate Pandas and I'm not going to take it anymore!

KyleranKyleran Member LegendaryPosts: 44,093

Just curious.  I'm seeing a lot of rage on the forums about Blizzard's latest expansion plan, specifically the addition of the Pandas into the game world.

Now never mind that the talent tree changes seem far more impacting (same for not being able to fly until level 90, in the new lands I'm assuming) I specifically wonder how the people who are actually playing this game today really feel about Pandarians.

I'd have to vote for another option.

Pandas are a "meh" dont' really care either way, really depends on the animations and how "cute" they are or not. For the record, looking for not-cute as the idea of being a drunken brawling rabid bear of mauling ninja death is pretty BA.

    Monk does sound interesting.

Talent changes... too early to tell but first reaction is "really? REALLY?"

I'll sum up my position as:

"Too early to tell, but it makes me really, really hope/pray that TOR is good enough to keep me from coming back to WoW."

You're right, forgot to add a "I don't really care either way" option.....

Pandas are ok, it's everything else in WoW that keeps me away from it. Give back the original WoW and I'll resub instantly.

Already done with WOW for a few years. But Panda's make the prospect of ever returning even less appealing. Not that I was planning to, but anyway ... yeah.

They did add WoW vanilla server few years ago. It died in few months.

Being a former wow player (and long time Warcraft player), I was originally hoping that Blizzard would add this race, so I'm all for it.

The things I'm not all for are some of the announced things - such as the "better" talent system they are developing. Some of it doesn't help wow at all.

    Groovy.

Blizzard never did that.  I'm sure some private server companies tried, but they got shut down since they were illegal.

I am quite excited about new race, new class,  whole new continent and new endgame options. I just don't get it why people are crying about pandas and monks. People should be excited about new content, not the other way.

Only thing that I am worried is WoW going too casual. I loved Vanilla WoW because it had a feeling of living world but nowadays it feels pretty dead. Plus, gear is too easy to get. Purple lost its value years ago and I want it back. People will come pouring in when Blizzard restores Open PvP and the same challenge of getting gear what it was in Vanilla.

Not subbed.   I might go back for a month or so.  Pandas or not doesn't bother me.  That's minor.

Nice poll.  I don't mind the pandas, but I've been un-subbed since before Cata with no plans of returning.  Tthe monk and other changes might peak my interest, but doubtful.

They are really not that bad, Ive always liked the idea of monk classes. That type of monk class btw.

I'm not subbed to WOW, but this wouldn't have kept me away, I sort of always thought WOW's sense of humor was quirky and this just is part of it.  (along with Gnomes, Talking Cows, Space Goats and what have you)

I agree, I am subbed, I don't care about pandas, I like their addition in the fact that they fit in the world's theme quite well, I don't plan on playing one myself though.

    REALLY excited about monk...

I have every tank at 85 can't wait to have 5 at 90
