14.95 euros vs 14.95 dollars EvE is cheaper to play in the USA than the EU.

I just realised this . One of the main reasons I've only ever tried EvE and never subbed was the price .

It now appears that American players get the game around 6+ dollars cheaper than the EU ones .

Pretty digusting . Yeah I know theres if I don't like it don't play it . Don't worry I wont at least not untill they offer us a fair deal .

About time for the players in the EU  to be treated fairly and equally with thier American counterparts either reduce it or make the Americans pay 6+ more dollars a month .

I am American and most certainly agree, I dont know why they do that. It's pretty stupid and bias imo.

The dollar is weaker now than when the Euro was introduced... you can't compare the prices of items in that sense.

Everything has a cost. You want to help all those poor people in Iceland, bail out Greece, and allow the Euro to surpass the dollar in value, etc?

Well its going to cost you something and that something is the price of increasing the overall cost of doing business where you reside. Don't like it? Move or vote for a different government that is more business friendly and abandons the EU currency and devalues the native currency of your nation to further lower costs of operation for all businesses. Otherwise learn to deal with it but please stop with the "Fairness" dribble that is at odds with the reality of costs of doing business in Europe vs the US and the differences in currency value

And Americans are in such a better place without thoes socialist elements? I think not. Instead of services like that we pay taxes for way to many politicians who only worry about making there wallets bigger.  Really not a good argument right now. America is hardly in a place to keep up its stuck up atitude of  "we are better than the rest of you".

It's not unusual for companies to charge more if you pay in Euros or UK pounds but most allow you to choose which currency to pay in. I always choose US dollars. If Eve doesn't give you a choice, it almost cetainly determines which currency you pay in by your IP address. You can probably get around this by using an anonymous proxy server that has a US IP address. I use Hotspot Shield when I need a US IP address. It's free. http://hotspotshield.com/

Using that has allowed me to sign up for several betas and a couple of games that theoretically were restricted to North America. Of course your CC is issued in Europe but they don't get to see that.

How would you get caught?  And if you were - it's a small sum not worth the energy to pursue and if it was challenged in court it would probably raise a bunch of questions nobody wants to answer.  I doubt anyone could get a court order to even investigate that sort of thing.

you dont get the price the price is 12,559€+19% VAT(i ignore the other tax) and that is 17,784$, you should stay away from eve if you dont get economics

nope the VAT is included in the final price, but on mortal online the VAT is apart, Sweden is not on EU monetary zone so they apply the country VAT 25%(the 19% VAT is EU VAT ignoring country VAT) and then the banks stab you w/ conversion fees, damn Swedish krona

Why don't you buy your gametime from Battleclinic? You get a better price of €26,91 for 60 days. Thats €13,455 for 30 days. It is far from the 10 and a half euros it should be but it is still better than the subsciption.

Or better yet, pay with dollars.
