For me? I'll resub every once in a while, play for a few weeks, remember why I used to enjoy playing (funny to think that Outlands is now considered nostalgic and old school) and then leave again for another year or so.
There's nothing in MOP that should stop me from visiting the old haunting grounds.

I will probably buy Cataclysm because my son is playing and he wants me to play. I suspect he only wants all the gold I have on my level 80 though. :-)
If he plays MoP or some people at work play MoP, I may purchase that too and then play for a couple months. I am interested in seeing the Panderen.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
OP only included games that actually exist. ArcheAge is vaporware...
It is ArcheAge, btw - not ArchAge. And it is Baldur's Gate - not Balder's Gate.
But back to that list of games, two of them are sub-less and not really a threat in general. At this moment, there are many of people that sub to WoW while playing other games - either single-player games on PC/Mac, game lobby games, etc - games on their various consoles, etc.
The number of people playing a sub game + non-sub game is likely to be far greater than the number of players playing two sub games.

Sometimes I marvel at the genius of Blizzard. (OK, some may say "Evil Genius")
Blizzard is offering a special; if you sign up for 12 months of WoW you get Diablo 3 for free. (and a few other perks. A Pony and automatic entery in to MoP Beta)
When I first heard this, It didn't register because I thought they were talking about a one year subscription like LoTRo does. You pay a single Fee and get the game for a year.
Nope, they are talking about continueing with your normal payments and getting D3 for free if you make a one year commitment.
This is a 60 dollar bargin. Plus perks.
But this also a stop gap for Blizzard, aimed at the WoW subscribers who might quit after trying out SW:TOR (Because they already made a one year commitment to WoW)

thank you for the typo checks. That asside Archeage is at closed Beta 3 currently, it is certainly not vaporware.

There is almost no info for the game at their site - there is almost no information for the game company at the site. For a game supposed to be released this year, one might find info from back in 2006... but there is almost nothing but PR blurbs for the game. For a game that has been in development as long as ArcheAge supposedly has, there is usually a great deal of information available for it. That is simply not the case with ArcheAge.
I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?

There are indeed many different options involved. Many people do leave WoW for a couple of months to play another game, only to return to WoW. For several years there, I had around 4 games in my rotation - I would play each for 1-3 months, switch to another, maybe do some betas, etc - it went around and around. One by one, those games dropped out of the rotation though recently...
I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?
I would have voted for: "I quit WoW for being themepark game years ago, came back couple times with serious intent but eventually quit it again for the same reason"
I quess i'd need some sand in a my game to box out my playing experience...

After Vanilla, I mainly "solo" played WoW. In Vanilla, I had the single 60 (Warlock). I did not raid in BC, and actually ended up moving to a smaller guild that kind of just played and tooled around having fun. With BC, I had four 70s (Warlock, Paladin, Shaman, Warrior). With LK, I basically played alone - nobody else from that small guild bought LK. I had five 80s (Warlock, Paladin, Shaman, Warrior, Death Knight), two 70+s started during LK (Hunter, Priest), a 60+ Druid started during LK, a 40+ Mage started during LK, and a 19 naked Rogue twink - also started during LK. With Cata, got the Lock to 85 the first weekend and was...hrmmm...meh.
The leveling speed in the game had become so ridiculously fast.
The changes to the talent system removed one of the main reasons that I played.
So it was goodbye without a week played after buying Cata.
The change to the talent system was the nail in the coffin for me. TS 2.0 is burning the coffin and scattering the ashes.
I think I had always come back expecting to find the fun that I had in Vanilla and even at the start of BC... it was never there to be found again, and sometimes I even wondered if it was ever there...
I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?
Why is it called The future of wow when it's something completley different?
No, it isn't something completely different. If lots of wow subscribers voted, it could somewhat indicate what they are going to do: leave for other games or continue to play wow. Ie a mass escape from wow, wouldn't be a bright future for that game.
Though it has to be said that this poll isn't likely to be very realistic. For that to happen, a very large amount of random wow subscriber would have to vote. And i'm pretty sure ppl who don't subscribe also votes, like haters - there's a zillion of them at this site.
OT:
I will continue to play wow. I might take breaks, but my subscription will continue. I accepted the 12 months deal, to get Diablo III for free. But for me it's not about "do this or that" - if ie SW:TOR gets great reviews from players, I might buy it. Nothing prevents me from subscribing to 3-4 games at the same time.

BC was my favorite time in WoW as well. Getting six talent choices for your character is such a huge turn off. I will be gone from WoW after SWToR is out. MoP was simply the last straw.

i m waiting to see how the new talent system goes, but sure TBC was the favorite expansion for the most of us

I want to vote but I cant vote. There should be a Continue WoW and other mmo.
Or a quit wow for another mmo.
There probebly are people out there who dont have interest in Diable3 GW2 nor swtor. Their voting option is not included.

I would vote "keep playing WoW casually while also playing SW:TOR also casually" but such an option is not in the list :P
(seriously, I cannot be the only one planning to play 2 mmo at once, especially casually).
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime"
it depends. if both mmo's need a subscription, then i think not many can play 2 at the same time.
The most depressing part for me about WoW is watching it morph into a sub + item mall shop
For that reason alone I won't buy any future blizzard products
