LF game with...

Hi, well, i'm looking for a game that is F2P {mod edit} and:

Has good armor, big, shiny, powerful.

Don't care about quests, it's ok if it's a grinding game, as long as the abilities are nice and combat is entertaining.

{mod edit}

I don't mind if people that pay might be stronger, but i would'nt like if i wouldn't be taken in guilds/raids etc... So, if it's pay to win, i'd like if at least the ones that don't pay aren't neglected, and to be able to handle the strong mobs.

(How is "Runes of Magic"?)

    bascially RoM has everything you would like.  as a non-paying player you would be taken in by most of the guilds except the major ones, IE top of the line castle siege guilds.  You could earn everything you want from other players and the like that is in the cash shop and there is a ton of gear to get.

    Abilities are decent, wouldn't say i was overly thrilled with them.  Overall it is probably one of two F2P MMOs that had me really interested for a while.

    Only problem is once you hit cap the P2P players and other major issues really start cropping up.

    Last i heard you had to spend at least 300 dollars at level cap to completely upgrade your gear to have any chance of ever being viable to raid pvp etc. This is just a rumor that I have heard so take it with a grain of salt but thought id off it regardless. Clarification would be much apreciated

    Best wishes

    Wouldn't say completely wrong.

    Basically at the end game you have to use the gear modification to increase your stats where you Absorb the runic stats of other gear onto the piece you want.   The best way to do this is with clean a clean crystal(can't remember the actual name) that will take the stat from one item.  since you need 3 crystals to merge stats onto a item you need to buy 3 of these and since a single item can hold 6 runic stat names you need atleast 6 crystals to total per a gear piece.  the crystals themselves aren't cheap.   Add to that the cost of buying gear from players if you don't farm the money and it goes up a lot higher.

    The game does have plenty of ways to avoid the cost.  Gear itself can be gotten through public events at high levels that is relatively good for the beginning raids.   With enough money some people are usually willing to sell the clean crystals.

    Though on the PvP server it wasn't completely uncommon for a single cash shop player to come up and wipe out all the public event players with a single ability.  Granted the PvP server isn't full of these player either so you can normally have a fun time on it without too much worrying of getting ganked all the time.

    Well I wouldn't call most of Runescape's armor big and shiny, but an example of how powerful it is, is that a lvl 40 in full rune can easily kill a naked dude at max level.

    It's f2p with a sub option that adds more content. But that content is all located in a different area so it never interferes with the free experience. There is absolutely no cash shop.

    It's definately a grindy game, but it might actually change your opinion of quests, because instead of doing quests to level, you level to be able to do quests, which are actually fun, and not just cause the story is interesting.

    The downside is it's all click and wait to do everything, including moving around. There aren't really any abilities at all, except magic.
