Question about PS3 and PC

Hi all quick question.

 

I bought the PS3 version when it first came out and lvled a few characters to max level.  I also have some item mall gear.  My questions is this.  Since I never get the tv anymore (thanks to my fiance') can I download the PC version and still use my login to retrieve my characters?  I wasnt sure if the PS3 and PC version are two seperate entities.  Any help would be great.

    They are seperate. You can't get into a PS3 Server (where your characters are) from a PC client.
