Star Vault AB expected to report Q3 2011 results on November 25, 2011

-Well Folks, Q3 reports are almost here...

Right before Q2 we had the double and triple billing fiasco which padded sub numbers/income , (a mistake, of coarse) And we were right on the heels of an Epic expansion which promised  "no more placeholder systems" and a "revolutionary breeding/genetic system"

Dawn came, and as predicted, was a buggy mess with systems STILL turned off/not implemented/working as intended (tm).

Less than a month away and the server is down with no ETA, the official forums while still ruled by the censors and fanboys are showing general dissatisfaction and bordem with the game AND a recent poll shows over 50% wanting a complete wipe/reset.

Ahhhhhhhh, all this and more.

SV is "hard at work" on their next revolutionary feat of programming- Territory Control which (once again) we are promised the World and told it "will be tested".

My prediction is that they will be rushing the release of TC within the next two weeks to hopefully gain an influx of subs from people coming back to see if the game is "fixed" and worth a sub  (hint: it wont be)

Sv stock opened the day ;kr0.11 and barley hit a high of just above kr0.2. In other words, the whole company is worth LESS than the unreal liscense they hold.

Again, the CEO Henrick Nystrom isnt worried... Thats why he has that silver spoon in his mouth. He made a great salary, got to "play" CEO and will go back to being a spoiled, rich basement dweller once this company folds (which will be soon). I predict SV is a distant memory by Jan 1 2012.

Anyhow, In this thread I would like to hear your predictions and views about what will happen during the time leading up to the "big" q3 report. Also, how do you think SV is going to look come Q3 report?

Actually the majority do not want a server wipe.  I think if the poll were worded differently, though, the results would be more in favor of a wipe.  Starvault needs a proactive duping detection system in place, with auditable item tagging... otherwise it is pointless to wipe because more than likely there will be another dupe at some point.

Based on tester rumors I've heard, I don't think that TC will be ready in two weeks, but then again it's typical of Starvault to release a system before it is fully ready.  Here is another rumor I heard:  Some of the test team is not very impressed by the test team leadership, so the quality of that test process may be less than flawless.  We were supposed to get a writeup of the tester feedback so far, but the ball was dropped - not inspiring much confidence.  The stuff that has been tested though had a lot of positive feedback, and I think TC is going to be a fun system.

I don't think much of anything is going to happen in the next 3 weeks.

I suspect MO will exist longer than until 1st Jan, as an undead game, the only thing that's more annoying than a dead game. MO is the ultimate annoyance and the scourge of the mmo market. The fanboys will continue their fail-efforts to advertise the game, SV will keep fucking up, and their fail-CEO will keep begging his fail-father for money, who would have cut the support long ago if he had a clue. This might go on for years because I doubt someone like Henrik can get a real job.

The only other thing he could do is robbing people on the street. Just look at his face, tells you everything. 100% crook.

I have a feeling that in general the earnings reports, and debt ratios, etc.. Will be almost exactly the same as previous earnings reports.  The only major thing that will be different is that they will mention the upcoming Territory Control expansion.

Never trust a screenshot or a youtube video without a version stamp!

what username said, i mean its pointless making a thread on the report when the report isnt out yet. Lets discuss it when it is out.

there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.

    Would have to agree... image

We will discuss it when it is released (a given)- But on the heels of the Q3 report, I am interested in any "predictions". If we can hype "events" that draw a whopping 36 participants and talk about TC before it is released, can we not discuss something as huge as a Q3 earnings report by a company which is run in such a shady manner as SV?

@ Phycobilly: I know a server wipe wouldnt make  lick of diff until the dupes and exploits are fixed. I doubt SV can fix the problem. I think many are coming to the same conclusion, even the blind are starting to see- Thats why I am interested in this report,.

But yeah- I am sure once the report is out there will be much to discuss.

report will show that SV are screwed. what will be interesting to know by this report is how deep they are screwed and thus how long they have remaining before the server shuts down or before its sold to another company. Given the stock value, there is little hope tho...

I think the dead by Jan 1st 2012 is a bit much.  I dont know how much Henriks father has in his warchest that he is willing to drop on a failing company to keep his son busy but you would be surprised what rich people spend every year to keep their kids occupied (Paris Hilton for example).  My prediction is, the company will be losing money again, more rah rah about how the new TC system is almost ready and has such a positive feedback from players and will be the greatest thing since sliced bread, (kinda sounds like the report that mentioned Dawn eh?).

In the end, not much will change, SV will lose money, promises will be made and the train will keep on going.  I dont think it is losing enough money to peak his fathers interest just yet.  If I had to predict an end to SV, it would be at the end of 2012 or sometime in 2013 based on the financials I have seen.  The problem is, we dont know how much pappy is willing to continue to throw in.  How much will he have to pay Henrik if Henrik is unemployed and decides to startup another company?  It just seems easier for pappy to continue to fund the current company rather than have it fail and then pay to start a new one for his boy later on.

See, thats interesting and normally I would agree...But...

Daddy Nystrom cannot just give more money. If he did, more shares of stock would have to be issued. The last time Daddy Nystrom "paid into this losing company" there was a move which caused all stockholders to also pay in more money or lose a % of their ownership. In otherwords, someone with 20 shares was forced to pay in a additional % on each of those 20 shares because of the injection of capital - Those that didnt pay (the extortion) into a company that has already lost most of their initial investment- Literally lost stock.

I believe (correct me if I am mistaken- I could be) that a move like that in a public company can only be done one.

To gain more capital I think (again, not familiar with Sweden Stock laws) they would have to do a stock split, issue more shares and then Daddy Nystrom could buy those shares .

You may be correct though- And SV never ceases to surprise me. Thanks for the input.
