Which faction to join?

I was hoping for a thread on this, but couldn't find one.

 

Silly post, as I'll probably just pick one at random.  The game doesn't do a really great job (or any job at all) of explaining what each faction really stands for, what the pros/cons of each are, etc.  That always bothers me when games leave out info like that.  It's like someone holding a gun to your head, forcing you to choose between marrying two different women, and you aren't allowed to see what each of them looks like, or even talk to them.. you just know their names. 

 

I'll go check their web site I guess...  I guess one faction is pro bio-engineering, and the other is more on cybernetics.. that sure doesn't tell you much...

 

It's not a bad game, but it's got its issues, and yes, I know it's not "done".  Hell, no game ever is these days..
