It is sad, I see that the major cities are still seperate from the open world and you must load on entering like in oblivion.
its a sp game so its not a big deal, at least for me.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

Don't worry. If your PC can handle it, there are mods for Oblivion that make all the main cities open. There most definitely will be mods such as these for Skyrim.
I honestly didnt mind it being done that way in Oblivion. Having cities in a seperate zone keep the game from lagging to hell form all the NPC's and things like that. It just bothered me tha tI had to load for ever building I went into, but with all the items laid around in some of the buildings (Like in the taverns) it would lag pretty badly if they were all open.
So I understand the reasoning, not a big deal for me as long as the world is highly detailed, which we know it is.
This begs the question. A question of epic proportions:
Will someone make a Trogdor Mod? So he can burninate Skyrim's villages? Complete with a Peasant's Quest side game?

What is also sad is that prior to the game being launched people are posting bad things about it. It was never a major problem in Oblivion, if this is all you can come up with this game is going to be a lot of fun.

If this means they could make the cities bigger and better, I'm all for it. I just hope they are bigger and better and feel like cities, not just little quest hubs.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

Still think it should be an option, whether cities are all open or partially or fully self contained to save on memory.

Currently bored with MMO's.
Because of the Vader-ness essence of your "Nooooo", make it now 72 hours...
