Diablo III Beta!

I just got into the D3 Beta! Woot!

Here's what I know so far. I can post screenshots, videos and my thoughts on the beta anywhere I want to. There is a Macintosh client. It's a 3gb download. I still have 1.34gb to go. :-) And that's it.

Anyone else in the beta?

I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

    I did not see any information about keys for the D3 beta. So far, I think it's luck of the draw or the year of WoW thing.

    You can opt in for Betas on your Battle.net account page. If you are chosen you will get an Email. Their are no Beta keys to be given out.

    BTW Lizardbones, are you curently playing WoW? I'm wondering if subbing helps your chances of getting in better.

    I've been busy with work..and forgot to register for that. Is having WoW Acc would give you a better chance of getting the close beta key. Are they still giving out Beta key man?

    Still no luck here.

     

    I do remember doing the Diablo 2 Battle.net stress test though.  Those were fun times!

     

    Note:  During the D2 Bnet stress test, the option to allow other people to loot your corpse was not just a Hardcore only setting.  Everyone was a barbarian, and people spent hours looking for gem shrines to get perfect gems.  In the last several hours of the stress test, quite a few people would have "loot duels" with the victor being able to loot their opponents corpse.  Just a fun little thing I remember and thought I would share.
