Since the NDA lifted I would just like to know the answer to one question. Does SW:TOR feel like a single player game for the most part, or does it feel like your playing an MMO?
Now when answering this question, I don't want the answer that: compared to other MMOs, like WoW, it feels just as much like an MMO. Personally, when I played WoW it just didn't really feel like what I imagined when I thought of Massively Multiplayer. I felt like I was playing a single player game for the most part, except I knew that the other players running around were actual people and not computers. Sure you group up for dungeons every once and a while, and then at endgame there's raiding, but for most of the game it just felt like a SRPG.
EDIT: Bold writing
And if you felt WoW gave you an MMO feel and SW:TOR gives the same feel, obviously your answer would be MMO feel. (We just have different opinions, haha)

If anyone votes single play then they have to say every other MMO ever made is one too.
I don't care about innovation I care about fun.
Feels like an MMO when you are out and about in the world. It's got more reason to group up with other players than any MMO I've seen in a while, and has quite a bit of group content, even at early levels. Now, combine that with the fact that you have tons of other players running around due to what will be a very high population, and there is no way anyone can say with a straight face that this game plays like anything other than a massively multiplayer online game. I will concede that it does play more like a single player rpg during the quest cutscenes. I don't think anyone can deny that. But once those cutscenes are over, it feels like an MMO in a living, breathing, seamless world.
Before i played beta, i expected that it would FEEL like a single-player game. but it does feel pretty much exactly the same as other themepark MMOs, so i voted MMO.
you get to a quest hub, pick up a buncha quests then run out to an area where there are mobs and many other people doing quests. it's pretty much the same questing feel as rift, except you get quests via voice rather than having to read them.
the only thing that sorta became my pet peeve was that at least 3 different NPCs told me "it's been a while since i've seen a jedi" when betowing their quests. it's kinda retarded given that there are 500 jedi running around doing stuff.

Game opens up a lot once you reach Coruscant. Remember it is a themepark MMO and once you go in with that expectation and mind set you will enjoy it. However starter planets are very linear since they serve as nothing more than a tutorial.
Like shitty MMO made by unknown company
Silly question, you do realize every single Themepark MMO is based around the premise of solo questing all the way to the level cap right? To me it feels no different then while Im playing Skyrim, except it plays worse and doesnt offer no exploration, or offers engaging quests but then again this is the hallmark of a themepark MMO.
