Anyone want to join me?
I've attempted to play L2 before, but got bored and had no idea what I was actually doing. nor did I have a guild or anyone to talk to at all. I'm planing on playing again when it goes free, and I was wondering if anyone wanted someone to play with, and maybe a guild could invite me and show me the ropes?

The easy way is start playing and after a few hours you are around lvl 40 then start shouting LFClan in towns if you play on Chronos or Naia server.
If you going to play on a new server (EU), soon the chat will be fill with clans recruiting.
I'm in the US some I'm most likely going to be on a US server, due to not wanting to lag the entire time I play
In that case I would suggest you wait and start in a fresh US server. I am pretty sure they are going to open new servers, apart from Chronos and Naia soon. In Chronos and Naia the majority of the players are 80++ and it will be difficult to easily find a clan. Oh, and it's clan. No guilds in L2. Clans and Alliances. And if you ask me, "clan" has always been the right word for the so called guilds of other mmo's.
If you are going to start on 30th Nov, though, then go to Chronos. Naia will retain the siege, territory war, manor, etc times of Europe. So new players in US will possibly start on Chronos and it will be much easier to find a new clan.
