CCP sells PLEX. PLEX can be converted to ISK. CCP sells ISK.
CCP has stated this has been done to cutdown on third party RMTs.
"CCP sells PLEX. PLEX can be converted to ISK. CCP sells ISK."
Players trade ISK that they have accumulated in game for PLEX. No new ISK is introduced into the game when a player buys a PLEX from CCP. If you contend otherwise, please show where the new ISK is being introduced into the system.
"CCP has stated this has been done to cutdown on third party RMTs."
Correct. That is accomplished not by players buying ISK from CCP but by players trading for ISK from other players through in-game means.

New ISK can be introduced into the system as players farm ISK to purchase the PLEX from another player. Farming for ISK to buy PLEX can result in an increased amount of ISK that exists within the game. There is not a finite amount of ISK in the game. To an extent, the influx of ISK into the game is slowed by the very nature of the game - the BOOM factor - your ship just got blown up.
Players trade for ISK through an in-game means having utilized a RMT with CCP. Without the RMT taking place with CCP, there is no trade for ISK taking place.
I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?

isnt that like arguing that its CCP's game, therefore they programmed the game to give isk, therefore CCP is selling isk?

Yes, playing the game generates ISK. Just like in any other game.
Also, Loktofeit asked you how particular action - buying PLEX, is generating ISK. Buying PLEX does not generate ISK...because there are is no legal way to buy ISK nor CCP sells ISK.

Ship loss does not cause ISK to be lost nor it 'slows down' anything but the contrary, ISK is being generated with each lost ship.
Think out your ideas better or at least listen to people when they point out your fallacies.

Not really. The incentive to farm the ISK to buy the PLEX to pay the sub increases the amount of ISK. Remove the PLEX, there would not be the farming for the ISK to buy the PLEX to pay the sub.
It is a distinct argument, separate from saying that every game company sells whatever in-game currency there is because you can earn the currency in the game.

It's no big surprise that there are more ISK faucets than there are sinks. It's like this in every game.

PLEX increases farming.
It's like I said earlier in the thread: http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/post/4563729#4563729
I still chuckle at it.
