I'm from aion and I quit the game and SWTOR will be my new game once it comes out, I find this game really fun and interesting but,
I got a few questions: (About Pre-Ordering)
1. I called 3 stores namely Gamestop , Bestbuy & Target to ask if they still have pre-orders for the Special Collector's Edition and they all are out of stock , and I asked what they have and they said they only have the standard edition and they no longer issue "Early Access Codes"
So my Question is if I Pre-order from Origin will I get my Early Access Code after I buy it? I Don't really care how many days i get for early access as long as it's more than 2 days at least , 5 is max we can get so it's all good.
2. Regarding the color Crystals they've included upon pre-ordering is it just yellow with the black glow? should be able to change the color in game at least.
(About Game Mechanics) :
3. Like I said im from aion online and I got used to having auto-approach target just by using a skill or auto attacking , i know there's no auto attack in this game but just wondering if they'll implement an auto approach feature because as a ranged class you always gotta watch your "Distance" between the target just to cast your skill.
4. Is it true that each race has its own unique racial traits? Does race affect anything aside from the storyline (NPC dialogues and such)?
I found this link I wonder if there is any truth to this can someone please clarify?
5. last but not the least and my most important question:
this is the most interesting part about this game that separates it from other MMO that this game is not linear unlike most games, the story and the dialogues and the choices you make affect your progression and may open new quests later, I love Bioware games , I really enjoyed playing Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3.
So When picking choices You either gain "Lightside" or "Darkside" Points, I know that they are for certain armors later on in the game that require certain amount of points of either affinities for you to equip them , but here's when it gets tricky , If I choose to be a "Good Sith" and picked the good dialogues and get Lightside points and vice versa as a "Bad Jedi" choosing bad decisions and gaining Darkside points,
as a good sith for example are we allowed to wear armors that require lightside points?
and what are the "Pros & Cons" of doing so?
Hope to hear from anyone that is knowledgeable
Thanks in Advance,

Woah text is way to small, and not going to copy/paste to notepad.

-Currently playing FFXIV, and BDO.
1. Origin is still selling early access at least in version displayed to my country. Check there if early access is listed as part of your purchase
3. No
4. Racial traits are useless, they get nonsense like emotes.
5. There is a light side vendor but the armor is not as good as the proper gear you can get through other means with the dark side requirement.
You do realise that no one ever reads the smallprint?
Thanks for answering some of them , and uhmmm i just edited my fonts haha thanks for reminding it too didnt notice that
The story line is pretty linear. There are choices to make, but what they affect is how characters react to you, not how the story itself progresses. You won't make a choice or fail a quest that leads you down a different path, but you might have your immediate superiors very angry with you for the choices you've made.
For me, that makes a big difference in the feel of the game and it makes the choices you make fairly important. I find myself juggling the choices, trying to decide which choice will result in lightside/darkside points and which choices will result in my companion either liking me or being angry with me.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
