I've been playing the beta since the first Fileplanet Beta keys were issued. My pants are still clean. Explain this phenominon.
Seriously, Sygmas, you need to take some time out for introspection. The game is *good*, but it isn't going to cure cancer anytime soon.
Have you tested the new QA build? If not, then be quiet.
Except I know what's in the new build, as I have known what was in every build since I started, therefore, we can draw the conclusion that I actively monitor the game by PLAYING it and daily reads of the forum.

I know EXACTLY what is in the new build and there is nothing substantially different about the game save for rule changes and tweaks. Is the game still the same game I logged into last week? Short answer: Yes.
We still haven't figured out why my pants aren't moist, which is what I am trying to deduce here, with your asisstance. Seeing as how I have been playing the beta for quite some time I should be through a few pairs, right? At least by what you've been saying around here?
And please don't make the next step in this thread a random attack of my character and some sort of hidden bias I have toward the movies since that would be very false. However, I do have a hidden bias against ravenous fanbois who purposefully blind and encapsulate themselves in a false reality.
I just want to know what is so worthy about what has been patched into the game today that is going to facilitate a breakdown of my inhibitions and many years of training to use the restroom. Sicne I seem to lack a grasp of the game you're playing. All I saw were bug corrections and improvements to certain GUI features and game mechanics. Did they add 100 new combat animations as an easter egg or something?

I'm just asking a hypocrit a few questions.
I gave a very CLEAR question. What has come i nthis latest patch that YOU think validates a lot of excitment form non-testers who will soon experience it. What do you THINK is so hot from the latest patch? You can PM me if you like, but using allusions would be less of a hassle.
Here is a quick lesson for you Sygmas, and I would really like you to use the mirror on this one. I have never ever seen you respect, or absorb what any other poster has said on this enitre site sicne I have seen your posts. I dare say you deserve it in return. Keep in mind that people who agree with you don't count, that is just psychological reinforcement.
Thirdly, I never said I detested the game, thanks for the assumption. I can be quoted to saying that I enjoy the combat and I think it has potential. Never assume things.
So, for a final time, I am wondering what you think is so hot about the latest patch to warrant people "crapping themselves" over it. If you can't even answer me then I think YOU need to "stfu" and stop making ten spam threads a day with pointless hersay. Not only that, but you already said the exact thing you wrote in the OP of this thread within ANOTHER thread on this board. It is getting old.

You've not read all my posts. I only started posting negatively in regards to WoW and Wish. I'm not asking you to 'respect' me -- but if you tailgate me so you can target attacks at me I will alert the appropriate moderators. I may not have the best attitude with some of my posts but I definitely don't follow people around trying to target them personally for attacks.

Maybe I should contact someone about this blatant spam? If you can't at least PM me concerning the reasons why you think the latest patch is so great I can only remain at my current state of understanding. I have to assume by your silence on the matter that my evaluation of the latest patch was accurate and you're just blowing smoke and hype out of your holes. Therefore, this thread's only purpose was to spread more fanboism about the game, something that no one needs.

Um... I'm still trying to figure out why sygmas got flamed for saying there was a new patch available and then it turned to a flame-fest on both sides.
Actually he was flammed for saying the new patch would make you crap your pants. And I don't think it did for anyone. Its still same game, and I've been playing since closed same stuff, not great, not horible. Decent game.

What sort of person are you to pass judgement for someone showing concern in a place meant for the exchange of ideas? I asked him a simple question. He doesn't want to answer me. And that is perfectly alright, he isn't obligated.
However, I cannot take his opinion seriously until he justifies it. That is what we call critical thinking. I don't think I was foaming at the mouth? If you call "flamming" having an objection to someone's *unjustified* opinion then you need to check yourself.

You won't be crapping your pants because you've seen the game and have become jaded to it. He's saying that new people who haven't played the game will probably be amazed by it. And the term "crapping your pants" was a figure of speech, like "sh*tting a brick." Flaming someone for simply showing some enthusiasm about a game is extremely poor conduct.
In other words, lighten the f*** up.
Why is every single thread on this site a flame war?
Forums seem to be a nexus for negativity. It's not often in life we can discuss things in a civil nature without becoming too passionate about our perspectives and end up resorting into these kind of flame wars.
Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.
I've been able to play very little of the stress test (just too friggin' busy), but I do have to say that from what I've done so far (about a couple of hours worth), I don't really see how so many people can say things such as OMFG!!! This game is totally teh suck!!!!!11111!!!!
I mean, so many people jumping in on this stress test (I've noticed it on the official beta forums as well) have played this game for 10-15 minutes and call it a stinking pile of crap. I just can't figure out why. Although I wish i had more time to test it out, what I have played seemed very well put together, and any problems I experienced were probably due to my system (lag, choppiness and such).
I did encounter a bug or two, which I also reported. I'm not saying it's flawless or anything, but I do think (especially when the story starts at launch) that this game has the potential to be a quality MMO.
BTW, combat is pretty intense (IMHO) when fighting someone you're not sure you can beat
Yeah it is, I play a Spy and it takes a lot more brains to survive in PVP.

sygmas, although I have not played the game much, I do understand why you defend it so vehemently. IT'S NOT A BAD GAME. AT ALL. Sorry if it seems as if I'm just recycling thoughts from my last post, but I can't honestly understand it. It seems to be a fairly solid beta so far, and they've still got a few months to go yet!
It just kind of annoys me how some of you on here need to come on and preach 'the truth' about the game, and then proceed to talk about it like it's the AO beta or something. I honestly think one of the big reasons some of you jump on sygmas so quickly is that he is so vocal and positive about the game at all times.
To be honest, when i first logged on, I was more on the skeptical side (hearing so much talk of 'this is crap--stay away
. But after playing for a while, I was like, "Umm...this isn't bad. It's pretty good, actually."
Ah well, I'm rambling.

I'll have negative things to say when the NDA Drops, the problem is I don't like to say things without backing them up. I can't back them up without breaking NDA. There are a lot of things I don't like with the game, its not perfect. I love it, and its flaws as well. i'm not trying to make it out to be the supposed WoW perfection

Again, someone believing in a game in the same way religous fanatics believe in bearded men in the sky. In a year, we will see this fanatic screaming "Blast" about the next game and being completly silent if someone mention MO to him.
Relax on the hype, and return to reality. Its ok, but not in any way revolutionary and with more flaws than rights. They need to go into turbo gear to make it anything more than a normal movie licence game.
