Lineage 2: Goddess & 'Truly Free' Launch Today

NCSoft has announced that the Lineage II Goddess of Destruction expansion and the "Truly Free" revenue model are set to launch today, Wednesday, November 30th.
The team has created a new interactive web guide for players to explore to assist them with new elements of the game or to re-familiarize themselves with Lineage II.
While waiting for the servers to come back up from maintenance, why not swing by the newly overhauled Lineage II site for a look around?

Unable to create an account. Every combination of letters and numbers have been taken for account names already. WTF am I doing wrong?
looks like "Account Creation" is a part of their maintenance right now, so can't create an account.

There not up yet, guy doesn't know what he's saying....
Yeah you can download the client and patch it up to GoD. But other than that, the servers are down until 5 pm PST. I cannot wait for this update to release
No servers are not up yet. Not until 5 pm pst/ 8 pm est. Account creation is very much a part of the maintenance today. As well as the forum log in.

Explains why it was taking forever to load the forums...coincidentally, it took forever to load mmorpg.com (usually does for me, though...dunno know why), so was thinking my pc was going apepoop.

What?! A 7 year old game online as a mmorpg, and this wonder patch/update turns the 3 servers down?! What?! omg is this what we were missing ... ^-^
Actually it was released in Korea in 2003 so it 8+ years old if you want to be really correct. ^^ (It's aged awfully well) That said I've been waiting for something like this in L2. I love the game. I've just been waiting for an excuse to come back. Here it is. Most of my L2 guild is returning as well. I've been having a blast playing free the last week and now am counting the minutes until I can get out of work to log in...
Soo many people, and apparently GMs are giving free level ups to random players in the starting area? So far so lame, I was excited but I guess I'll wait... can't click anywhere to move w/o clicking a player.
there are no gm's giving free levels. Just people trolling
Didn't bother to check myself. But there are so many people though hah, can barely move. Is there an alternate way to move?
for those that think this is l2 for free, think again. most people have 600k by level 20 which takes 10 minutes to get.
This is not lineage 2. The masses won out here, it has gone carebear.
