Honestly, I felt that this was a very well constructed First Impressions Video. I know a lot of star wars fans hate it for being negative, but it's honest and does reflect a lot of issues with the game myself and quite a few others have brought up over the weekend. In addition, some of us played passed the starter worlds, on to the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th planets. Most of these complaints remain valid even after you leave the starter worlds.

The UI is a pretty big issue, most new MMOs allow you to move around the UI in some fashion (rift, LOTRO, WAR), and this really should be a standard feature. What I have to ask, though, is where were these questions during beta? Were none of these issues raised? Were people too preoccupied with it being star wars that they didn't treat it like a normal game? Were there discussions about these issues that simply went ignored? It just seems like a big case of 'hear no evil, see no evil'.

I did also come away from the weekend feeling that, while the game is somewhat enjoyable, it's very lackluster. There are a lot of things that could've been improved a long time ago. For one, the companions spamming voice dialogue gets really annoying. The customization is also very meh. Ambiance would be a huge improvement to the environments (which I hope is turned off for some reason and will be added @ launch? I'm doubtful on this one, though). The storyline also kind of bugged me, in that it didn't really change much regardless of my choices. It was almost comical, how on my Agent I would blatantly insult the teachings of Revan to just about everyone in the camp, and they would still great me like I was a great friend. I don't think anyone would be kind to me if I walked around calling their faith idiotic, and repeatedly told them they were the biggest / weakest fools in the galaxy.

i honestly think the issues HAD to of been brought up in previous beta's how or why they were not fixed I really do not know.. there are a lot of people who would take a big steaming pile of... and if bioware told them it was ice cream they would gobble it all up without a second thought. Honestly the game isn't that bad but yes with 135 mil or so budget we are getting a mediocre game for how late in the MMO game world it is.
