I have read boards and seen who is best for pvp,
but before I got through all the chacters I was wondering who is better for solo pve and group.
I know hunter is good any others?
Also I am big into get in groups but one thing I have found is NO GROUPS. someone told me they have them but they don't really start until u get lev 25+ is this true? That is kinda why I want to know best solo classes.
Comments
Hunter is probably the best solo class, but is also probably the worst class for grouping at higher levels, maybe only ahead of the rogue(depending on the instance).
I would say Warlock. They can solo well, and they are also wanted for groups.
Not many people group for things besides instances and quests. I've personally never grouped with anyone to just "grind". Instances start around 15 for the horde.. not sure about Alliance.
Few people group in this game really outside of instances. Sometimes for a quest or two, but most people just wait until they are high enough to solo them.
Finding a good guild of course helps alot if you want to group.

ooh i c...
hey some 1 can tellme if the class of chracter (human, night elf, orc, undead) makes a difference in the profession ?
Example: night elf rogues are better than the humans rogues something like that.
Class does make a difference, but not a very big difference.
The stats are slightly different, and the racial traist are all but useless except for a few. Will of the Forsaken is one of the very few useful traits.

Ty by the way you know a website with info like stats of each class and skills
All classes are soloable. It's just that Hunter is so much faster since your pet tanks, and as a hunter you can heal your pet. Playing a hunter is kinda like playing a Priest with a Warrior that is always by your side, does what you tell it to do and leaves all the loot for you to pick up and never argues.
Any other class that isn't Paladin or Priest will end up having to eat food after every kill. It's long having to wait for your health to get back up just so you can kill another creature that is 2-4 levels above you. My hunter rarely ever eats food. I just keep a few Mana Potions in my bag in case I run out of Mana to heal my pet, and I'm pretty much set to kill 1 creature, heal pet, go to the next creature, and repeat the process.
Priest can be a bit longer too. Since instead of eating food to regenerate Health, you're drinking water to regenerate your Mana since you used up so many heals and shields, plus casting Smite over and over again.
Even Paladin is a bit slower to solo. We deal less damage per second than a Warrior, and yes we can heal, but then I found myself drinking more water to regen Mana. I drank less Water than my Priest simply cause I can kill a creature more faster than my Priest could, but once again, it's no where near as fast as my Hunter.
So Hunter wins "best PVE class" in my book!
Other classes are easy to solo too! My friend has a Mage, he solos almost as fast, maybe even faster, than my Hunter. But he had to work really hard to reach Level 30+. But after Level 30, you freeze target, blast'em with Fireballs, move on to the next creature. He kills about 3-4 creatures, then he drinks to regen his Mana.

Druids solo very well in terms of no downtime but kill slowly. Druids have very little downtime because they don't burn through mana like mages and priests do, yet can still heal themselves so almost no time spent eating after battles unless you had a really tough one. They melee better than priests and mages and have better armor, and can always switch to form to tank if they really need to regen mana. It's a very good solo class, but the DPS is low and so it is a slow killer.
The best way to level quickly is to hunt mobs solo that are even, -1 or -2. You shouldn't be trying mobs that are +2, they will just wear you down and cause downtime.
Hunters are probably the best solo class. Problem is that in a group they're less useful so they have a harder time getting into groups at high levels. Priests are probably the worst solo class in terms of time to exp due to having only so-so DPS and cloth armor = end up fights low on health and mana. Paladins are a great class overall, but they don't solo that fast because the DPS is low ... they rarely get killed if they know what they are doing and they are very tough in PvP as a result, which is why there is all this hoo-hah about Paladins on the Blizzard boards (it's mostly PvP driven because in 1-on-1 PvP Paladins are hard to kill) ... but soloing they don't kill mobs that fast.
I would also say that rogues are a great class overall. Only leather armor but their DPS is sky-high, almost like that of a mage and unlike a mage they have no real downtime (mage downtime in WOW is extreme, they burn thru mana very fast) esp if they are smart about potions and bandages and that kind of thing. Also a deadly PvP class.
So I would say Hunter and Rogue if you want to level fastest.
