gigamo recently posted a new pvp video showing how the prediciton is currently and how the combat has progressed recently. the new weapon sythe in the video validates it as a post tc patch video. the video is speeded up abit.

Great video by Gigamo again...

 

But it shows that there is ONE race in MO, and ONE weapon type, and ONE armour type.   Flavor of the month anyone? 

 

When they fix this, and make the game useful for more than just power gamers and such it might be good.  Till then its the really bad version of Mount & Blade:Warband

pure veela, thursar khurite and khurite khurite are all perfectly viable for melee. Infact im pretty sure theres more now due to being able to alter your weight.

 

But currently the best weapons are shield and 1 handed sword and shield and spear. Followed by 2 handed sword polearm and axe. Although the mace is now equal to the sword since the balance changes. So im thinking of switching to mace for the added range, Since the swords range is much shorter than before and it does less damage to than beofre.

 

reason why so many people still use swords is becuase they are used to them and they are the most likley weapon you will loot, but they certainly arent the best weapons.
