SWG was my first MMO and I it will always be my favorite. The crafting in SWG has now ruined my crafting experience in other MMO's because they all fall short in the area of complexity. I have had so may people try to recommend other mmo's that offer good crafting and I try them just to end up disappointed.

I will miss deathwatch bunker runs, hunting the Gorax, the warren & Correllian Corvette runs with the guild, hanging my newest trophy on my wall, displaying my prized Hero of Tatooine golden ball and running away from a krayt dragon that I thought I could finally solo.

I even liked some of the NGE mustafar content.

    R.I.P. SWG

Honestly apart some of the sandbox features what I really liked in SWG is the option to play non combattant classes.

It brought many new players with a totally different mindsed. That was the true era of MMO.

    Pizz on non combatants.

They are a very very small portion of the subs, and yet a Dev has to put in forced dependancies to make them viable.

If I wont pay a sub fee to be someone else's content in PvP, I sure as hell am not going to for anything else either. Having to drop what I am doing to see an Ent cause I am encapped, or rebuying the same item from Owen is a bunch of BS.

If they wanna play the game, then play it like everyone else, or find a game that does specialize in what they want offered. When you try to appease everyone, you end up without anyone happy. A tale in the desert would love their sub.

Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget.

Played SWG since launch.  Miss all my guildies.  Loved the freedom of the game.  Took me months to even get the hang of it.  Still tell all my friends that game about it.  NGE, not so great, but pre CU and CU I loved.  Unlocking jedi in that game (before clicky jedi) remains the most exciting thing I have ever done in a video game.

The excitement when you heard a saber ignite outside mos eisley.  When you could name all the jedi on your server.  Destroying BHs in groups, visibility, killing krayts for pearls.

I have played SWTOR beta for some time and it is great.  SWG it is not.
