Its not the CE vendor, it is just one of the vendors in the VIP area, which is free to access the area for CE & DDE owners, or you can buy access for one million credits.
The CE vendor is an Ithorian.
That is a sweet ride. I can already picture myself crusing around with it, one elbow out of the window, picking up young padawan chicks like A BOSS!
So a normal edition player can get an access pass to the VIP area and can buy stuff from vendors there apart from the special CE vendor, is this right?

As far as I know, only CE players can get to the VIP lounge...
I've heard that player without CE can actually buy the access into VIP lounge with something like million credits or so... BUT, they can't still access the stores there.
By far the most elistist concept I have seen introduced into mmo since egar score honestly. Just bad idea from start to finish.
When I was on the Republic fleet station I saw at the cantina the VIP bands for sale there at 1 mil credits to get the band. Dunno if that will give you access to the store or not
I was under the impression that access to the VIP area for a million credits, was just a beta option so people could decide if the CE was worth it. It would be a bit of an insult to everyone forking out $150+ for a CE if everyone could get access.

There are two things here...
VIP Lounge - Free access for CE & DDE owners, 1,000,000 credits to access for everyone else. The VIP Lounge contains a few VIP vendors that offer a nice range of junk, nothing game breaking, most of it cosmetic or available elsewhere in the game.
CE Vendor - Available only to CE owners, this vendor happens to be located in the VIP Lounge but is in no way tied to the VIP Lounge. It is currently unknown what this vendor will sell, but is highly likely that it will just be a few more cosmetic items that aren't available from other vendors.
The linked video shows the VIP Lounge and the VIP vendors, NOT the CE vendor.
EDIT: BioWare is free to change this if they want, but as of the last Beta test, that is how it worked and BioWare have done nothing to state otherwise.

CE vendor or VIP vendor? Or is it possibly an Operation drop or sold from normal endgame mount vendors?

Well, I can tell you it isn't from the CE vendor, beyond that, I don't know.
Yeah, if only Bioware was selling Collector's Edition spider mounts for a mere REAL $10 like Rift does.
Trion pre-launch: "We won't be doing micros or opening cash shops."Microtransaction months after launch to the rescue!

Bioware should do micros too so they can make one million dollars off of 100K people like Trion's subs who will pay their money to ride this:

first of all, no it isnt... second of all... no, it isnt....
great idea. you want access? buy the CE. you arent entitled to anything, stop being so conceited. all they owe you is access to the game for your monthly sub. want more? pay for it.
it is a bonus for fans that show their support for the company and the game by paying an extreme premium. they SHOULD get something special that nobody else can get for 150 freaking dollars.

We want to make sure this is very clear: only Collector’s Edition owners will have access to the Collector’s Edition Store, which is listed officially as one of the benefits of the Collector’s Edition. There will be other ways to obtain access to the VIP lounge on the Fleets (one of which is spending a large amount of credits), but those players will NOT be granted access to the Collector’s Edition Store. We have not changed the offerings in the Collector’s Edition – they remain as they have been listed. We apologize for any confusion there may be regarding the topic, but we have not altered the official offerings in the Collector’s Edition in any way.
