No biggie, they went the route of all pre-orders getting early access. The main selling point of CE's seem to be the statue and the VIP lounge.
The ONE reason I almost bought the CE was for the in game store. I have a few CE editions of other games and to be honest I just lose that stuff or stop caring about it after a while.. such as the CE for fallout new vegas. The platinum chips and cards were cool at first but now... meh.

I personally didn't buy the CE because I've never really been that in to fluff items, and having a statue/figurine doesn't really appeal to me. It just seemed like a bit too much money for me to part with when my main reason for pre-ordering was to get me in the game early. But if you can afford the CE and like the stuff that it offers, I say more power to you. I know I'll be jealous watching you cruise around in that awesome speeder, that's for sure.
We spend our money on things that please us. So faulting someone for having the money to spend on a CE when it's something that they really want doesn't make any sense to me.

Also if SWTOR is considered to be great by todays community then god help us. It is totally unoriginal and plays like all the other MMOs for the last 10 years with slightly better graphics it is not awesome it is your average MMO with some nice stories in it. I guess if you were new to MMOs then you might think it was good but not if you have played the same old game in with different skins for years.

ill agree community is "average" overall from my time testing and posting on the forums.. You want to see a bad community go over and play the now free 2 play lineage 2.. I really can't believe i played that game for almost 8 months back in the day.. Community is so so bad.. But that's generally expected with a PVP centered game anyway..
