in Guild Wars

1: Does anyone know what this game runs on, DirectX or openGL?

I am going to place my bet on openGL because I have yet to see a game this pretty in directX. Same goes for the client side load, DirectX games seem to need way more resources than what an openGL game needs.

2: Pre-Order Cd's, I didnt see anything about the $10 counting towards the offical release. Did I just pay to play once a month before the release?

    If you got your pre-order from somewhere like EB then it will count towards the final game. The Bonus disk is free.

    as far as im aware it runs on directX
