Game has some very good original ideas...

I have posted a bunch of thoughts on the FoMK website also but here's my personal thoughts:

  1. No starting equipment - especially for FDC/LED = Lame (no way to control civil unrest)
  2. penalty points need to be re-written to include any attacks on a person etc.
  3. tutorial of some sort needed - although reading the help section on the forum helps some
  4. basic training (could be tutorial) and a SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for FDC/LED needed
  5. This game has potential, but will not make it on it's current format.  They should pull it back into closed beta and work on all the issues they've unearthed in this Open beta. 
  6. Yes I know it is a beta, but once a game goes open beta and has this much trouble, they should pull it back.  If they don't a lotta people will simply ignore the game henceforth.  This is what happened to Horizons.
  7. If you defend yourself, it shouldn't give you penalty points PERIOD.  There is no way to return fire on someone attacking without being penalized yourself.

Other nice additions:

  1. Better graphics of characters - especially faces.
  2. Equipment worn should be shown - not just implants or weapons.
  3. Apartments should have ability to allow guest access so if peeps want to RP parties etc it'd be good.  Also, would give peeps ability to chat locally while waiting on missions etc.
  4. Improved visualization of factions.  FDC/LED should have insignias or badges visible.  And these law enforcement groups need to have ability to "pull" info on a character lurking around to see his penalty points.
  5. Varied mercantile booths.  Stores would be nice if there were different types.  ie. Guns/Ammo Stores.  It gets kind of old scrolling through lots of crap to find what you are seeking.  Also, there is little to no data available in the store interface to know what your buying.

Just some thoughts.  I'm moving on to other worlds now, but if FoMK has a chance, they better fix a lot of bugs now.  I'd NEVER pay for this game as is.
