OUR HISTORY



Static was formed in 2002 for Earth & Beyond from a group of close-knit friends. We have since been apart of many MMO’s and usually have a guild in more than just one game. The goal of the guild is to do "more with less", and each day we strive to truly deliver on that line of thought through use of tactics, instead of sheer numbers (and non exploiting).   We have been known for server dominance in more than one game, since our inception in E&B.  


Today our numbers are low as migrating our initial core members from other MMO’s have been slow but eventually anticipated all the same.   This provides a great opportunity for new players to fill the ranks while we wait for them to rejoin us.



Although we enjoy joking around with each other, raids/pvp/etc are strictly business; requiring each person to perform to their utmost abilities, with little or no distractions.



Many of us have known one another for for nearly 10 years, so being as close as we are with each other brings along with it a strict rule set- One designed to protect the integrity of our guild and reputation also allowing a fluid and fun experience.

A SPONSORED GUILD

Our guild is sponsored by a California based technology firm who will be looking for advancement in game progression in exchange for public relations to promote their technology solutions, the return on investment for our guild members will be real life rewards such as free game time, computer gaming prizes like video cards, cpu's etc., and other exciting rewards given out monthly!   All monthly rewards are given to general members only, this means that leadership is not having you work for their rewards, leadership’s reward is to be there to support the success of the guild and it’s members!   While we greatly appreciate the extra time involved they will not be recipients’ of any gifting.   This was agreed upon when we accepted the terms of the sponsorship.

As you can imagine, it will be a very competitive team, where only the best and most focused players will succeed.   If you feel like you’re up to the challenge, we encourage you to apply!

STATIC AND MMO’s



Any MMO is a game that we move through at aggressive pace, typically shooting for server firsts and being leaders not followers. We do not let others dictate how or when things should be done. Instead, we prefer to use small numbers where we are required to think outside of the box and challenge ourselves as often as possible. We do not believe in just throwing masses of players at a boss, we rely on tactics, research and consistency. We expect and count on education and elite skill level of playing to accomplish our goals.

The real pride in our raiding comes from knowing each member played a key role in allowing us to defeat encounters that larger guilds may struggle with, by investing the time in advance to research our class’s impact on the instance and the tactics involved.

STATIC RULES



Although we do not like having many rules, we have to maintain some sort of standard and discipline. We don't have the usual petty rules of no swearing or crude behavior. The first Rule is to have fun! That is the foremost rule in everything we do. Joking and playful teasing are as much a part of our guild atmosphere as is the level of precision with which we play. We require our members to use our Ventrilo, especially during raids, for obvious reasons. It simply saves time, effort and makes the cohesive play style we enjoy much easier. The final rule is respect; respect for fellow guild members is vital to any guild. To be friends you have to respect one another.

DISIPLINE



Knowledge, Commitment and Pride are the 3 most important qualities found in our members.

Our members educate themselves and each other every day to better themselves and the guild. Whether this is with experience groups together for levels or helping with key situations or quests all of our members are motivated to do what it takes to advance.

Grouping and doing things together are always good fun and can define how the guild comes together through applying themselves.



Commitment to excellence can be seen throughout STATIC as we continue to grow in strength.

Doing "more with less" requires each member to be fully committed to the guild and the goals set forth, requiring a strict discipline at times to ensure we are all performing at 110%. The most important observation with this is the willingness of each member to maintain this level of dedication out of pure desire to succeed as one.



Pride is the staple of our existance. All of the hard work we put in is not only for the overall good of the guild, but also to help each other, our friends and family.

There is a strong level of trust held among our members, and that same trust is extended to any new members once they have completed an application process and then the initiation time.



Where are we from?



Most of us reside on the main land USA. From Pacific time to Eastern time. Although our times are always based of the West, we have a verity of players all over. We will have plenty of numbers to ensure we members on at all hours of the day and night.



It is our hope to create an International Player Base so that anyone, anywhere can enjoy playing and grouping with us.

With over 10 years and countless games. We are proud of recruiting only the best players with a positive attitude to join us. We are equally focused on PvP and PvE end-game content, though primarily exist on a PVE server.   You can rest assured that STATIC we will become a known name on the Jekk’ Jekk Tarr server. We do not mass recruit, we believe it is always better to maintain a smaller group of players that are exceptional, than a massive group that are merely decent.
