Someone was just telling me from their official financials they now under 1k subs, I play beta, thought the game wasn't ready, played other stuff for a year, came back just after Dawn patch.
Game is going from bad to worse, 90% chaos faction just killing everything, most towns going - no guard zone. If you not in a major guild, forget it. No order to anything. Not a nice place for a new player to start. For old players, if not in a major guild, prepare to have all you hard word worked for assets stripped by those utilizing well known exploits as the GMs watch and tell you their is nothing they can do. Yet when these same exploits are use against certain chaos guilds, game mechanics are fixed/frozen in a miraculously short amount of time.
Duping is rife and SV staff seem unable to clean it, vast cities are popping up over night with no history as to how they got the assets to build them. Economy is out the window, there is no value to anything.
SV staff seem to be biased, any in game event ends up with only their friends being gifted a win.
Iif you petition stuck or anything else for that matter, enemy amazingly appear out of no where, in the middle of no where shortly after.
There is no solo or small pvp anymore, it's just gank or be ganked.
Corruption from all levels, high and low, I do not suggest this game to anyone that likes fighting on a level playing field.

I have not played in a few months but your description sounds about right to me from what I have seen.
The MO GM Talwin is Sindas.
Sounds along the lines of how DFO is, instead of screwing everything up AV chooses to ignore their player base and give everyone the "silent treatment" lol. A shame the only two fantasy sandbox MMOs worth playing are run by teams of apes. :-/
"I play Tera for the gameplay"
If there is no real safe zone for new players and it's possible for player factions to become powerful enough to ignore things like NPC towns and guards, it's kind of inevitable that you'd get something like a single strong player faction controlling everything. If there isn't much to control, you're going to have a single strong player faction destroying everything.
Kind of like playing the Sims...it always eventually devolves into building torture houses for virtual people.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
both fabernum and morin khur are not conquerable and will remain that way for new players and those who do not wish to get involved in territroy control.
there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.
Fab will be the only un-conquerable town, and we think only until Tindrim can be opened.
New patch announced states if town not used, as the case with MohKi and Vadda now, then town will actually end up costing the conquering guild. I guess this is for town maintenance. So simply taking a town and turning off the guards will have consequences.
This should have been implemented a long with the TC patch, SV playing catch up again. Always should be consequence to every action.
I tried the game last month, its poorly designed and not fun.
