Is there a way to get the hood over the helm?

I got a hooded chest piece, but once i equip my robotic helmet the hood disapears.

Bug or intended?

    You can hide the helmet in the preferences if your chest piece has a hood.

    Some helmet are visible under hoods but not the full helmets, only ones like the masks or those headbands.

    i havnt found any mask on empire side tho, there all helmets
