After months of other hassles with trying to get things rigth with this great looking game we finally hit open release day.
I go to log into my account and it asks a security question that I didn't use when I set my up during preplay.
What is the first name of your first girl/boy friend?...
I honestly don't remember and there is no chance I'd even consider using that as a question so I checked my list (my memory sucks anymore so yes I wrote down my security questions) and nope, it isn't one of them. And noone else could have read these to change them as I live alone and go nowhere and noone has been here but me.
Knowing that since its a security question issue I dial up customer support since they will of course have to verify ownership. This is 11:30 pm on the 19th.
Now I also submit a ticket, the only thing I can do without answering the question that I can't answer. I recieve an autoreply telling me NOT to call unless requested to. Followed by another autoreply telling me to call customer service.
I tries resetting my password, even removing the game from my machine and reinstalling, ANYTHING to get a different question. Yet the same one is all that shows up.
4:30 pm Dec 20th "Your call is important to us and will ba answered as soon as an agent is available." My math may be a bit rusty (and by now i'm jusy a lil bit tired), but that looks liek 17 hours to me, still no answer.
I have been checking forums twitter and facebook and seeing this same issue occuring since the 13th with only one resolution that said they got through to a live rep after 11 hours on hold.
It's a known issue and yet there is no way to fix it that I have found, giving up I finally got hold of Origin and requested the payment be reversed as the game was not accessible and there was no customer service apparent. The reply was "I'm sorry but we can't refund your purchase as there is a physical component" this was btw, digital deluxe edition.
If any of you have any bette rideas how to resolve this please post as it really is a decent game that i'd liek to play. But I really can't see any justification for this extent of bs.

Prior history with this game:
pre-ordered CE Aug 1st through Best Buy, after 16 hours total dealign with customer service i late november they finally reprocessed my order that they couldnt seem to process a preorder code with for some reason. I recieved a code Dec 2nd, needless to say I hit the last wave:(
As of Dec 15th Best Buy was stating a delivery date of Dec 27th for the physical game so I cancelled and went throughorigin for digital deluxe version to avoid the risk of missing out on access.
Dec 15th 12 :30 pm got preplay access (I whined about this a lot as I had tried to get in early with retail fail)
Dec 16th 9 am I got my digital deluxe retail code from origin, right on time as advertised and expected.
Dec 19th 11 pm I recieved an email from Best buy with a preorder code apologizing for any inconvenience.......
Dec 19th 11:30 pm security snafu blocking access and no customer service in sight, fourm postings making it apparent this has been an issue since start of preplay (boththe security issue and lack of CS)

I've known people to have this problem and they used to have a specific CS number just for this issue. Not sure if they still do or what it is, but you might try finding that on the official forums.

YEs, they do. It says please call back later, and has been aying that since the 13th from posts I have found.
Btw, sry about the wall of text but I wanted to make it clear, it isn't simply a whine (I brought my own cheese too).
There is NO miracle patch.
95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.

Nope, no login for game or site, though at first the game worked then it asked for the security too. Even a full strip and reinstall wiht no cookies cache or anythign on my end did anything. Still the same question every time.
