Tried out to see improvements since launch

So i saw they were gonna start charging for a sub, so I thought I'll fire it up and see the improvements. Here were my thoughts compared to launch:

-Graphics were incredible (I know they were at launch but seems better and more fluid)

-UI revamped to be less cumbersum and smoother

-Casting and Combat far better and smooth

-Map was greatly improved

Overall, I was pretty happy with all the improvements. It made it bearable playing though a couple levequests. That said I can't wait to see 2.0, because the game it self is still shallow and horrible in its current state. It won't really start drawing people in til the game foundation is changed.

Enjoy it, it is a beautifull game. I last on average 3 weeks before things start to get to me. Perhaps you won't have that issue.

I doubt the OP was paid anything, otherwise the proofreaders would have changed that "bearable" to "enjoyable". For the OP to say that the game is now "bearable" really doesn't spell well for the enjoyment factor of the game.

I played open beta and the game was just rubbish.

I bought the collector's edition from gamestop the other day, and I have been playing non stop. It's tons better than what it used to be.

If you read the future plans for the game it is just going to get better and better.

I wasn't "paid" anything to type this down lol. I'm speaking from my point of view and the game is awesome. Just make sure you meet people in Eorzea or you'll not have as good of a time. The community (scratch wierdos and soloers) is great as well.
