The rules here say that there is no baiting/trolling aloud, but someone can make a baiting/trolling thread and it's OK. There should be one dedicated thread for SWTOR right now so these forums can be cleaned up from all of the flamers, baiters and trolls. Let everyone have at it in there. If a new thread is made about SWTOR, that person should be warned and then banned if they do it again. These hate threads are becoming ridiculous.

It's not trolling just because you don't agree with them. Stop caring so much, other people don't need to liek the game in order for you to enjoy it.
They actually do watch this forum ALOT trust me. Most them are also adults and know what baiting and trolling looks like. Say if I give a review on TOR and throw a bash at WoW like...WoW fanbois suck and so does WoW <--that is baiting

Yeah, maybe they should make one for all the people bitching about the forums too. I mean how many of these need to be made?
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.
Problem is if we didn't care this forum would become overrun with nonsense. I care, because I come here to take part in discussions that are productive. I like this site, I like a large part of the community, I like discussion, yet I hate flamewars and I will report the culprits I see starting them.

A lot of them wouldn't be flame wars if rabid star wars fans didn't reply with insults. So who are you reporting in these cases?

Game Attacks
Unsubstantiated comments about specific or general games will be penalized in nearly the same way attacks against people will. The exception is that you can say mean things about games provided you back it up with reasons.
Example: "Game X sucks." is not a legitimate comment. "Game X sucks, because..." is acceptable.
The only issue I see at the moment is that the SWTOR threads are sort of clogging up the forums. I've seen that they've locked a few as duplicate topics, but we keep getting a half dozen new.

There's an easy way to move to a much more moderate position. Lose the emotive language and the labeling of others.

Maybe OP doesn't understand that holding a conflicting ideal to be true is not trolling.
Intentionally trying to provoke someone into a fight or intentionally evoking negative emotions and or reactions from them with the sole intent to do so.
THAT is trolling.
Saying "I don't like SWTOR, here is why" is not.
its always this way on the launch of a new game here on these forums. A small group of people get all kinds of mad and come on here to spread the hate, they feel they were cheated, or done wrong, and believe they MUST tell EVERYONE about it. Right after that happens, those people that like the game start getting banned for trying to correct the falsehoods being passed off as facts. Happens on every game, has happened on every game for the past 3 years here at least and will continue to happen for the next 3 years....at least. The key on these forums is like others have already said, dont care. Yes we know the post is false, yes we know its a lie, yes we know its BS....no, dont take the bait, only you will lose out.
