But anyways, since there are so many people whining about how horrid this game is, I thought I'd share my experiences.
Pre-ordered December 7th.
Downloaded and patched the client with no problems.
Accepted into pre-release on December 15th, I got in "up to 5 days early" as they advertised. I played throughout the early access with 0 problems.
I had a <5 minute queue last night to login.
Ignored the emails and warnings about needing to setup my subscription. Just set it up, no problems.
SWTOR launch has been smooth, with the exception of the 2 days I had a queue, waaaa. The game plays smooth, I haven't run into any bugs. I'm not saying none exist, but I have 4 real life friends who are also playing and they haven't had any problems either.
As for the game being all single player instanced....I've played MMOs since before they had spiffy graphics and were called MMOs. In modern MMOs, as I'm leveling up, I always see dozens and dozens of other people, we're all running around solo, doing our own thing, and frequently competing for spawns. Few people actually want to group for questing, myself included, because everybody is at a different point and has different quests complete, so it's generally faster to quest/level solo anyways.
At least SWTOR has an interesting single player story for me to enjoy while I'm leveling up. I do all the single player quests...solo....and enjoy it. And when I get a few group quests, I find/make some friends, we group up, and play as a group.
Despite there being a billion noobs in this game, the starting areas aren't overly crowded (due to instancing), I don't have to fight over spawns, i don't have to stand around in an area that is packed with more players than NPCs with everybody waiting on soemthign to spawn.
SWTOR has a few unique twists, like the companion system, crafting system, modding system. But quests are the typical Kill X until Y drops, or go here and touch the glowy thing, nothing special about the quests except the story behind them.
SWTOR isn't the best MMO ever made, but I'm having fun with it. [Mod Edit]

When you pay for something that you do not like you feel intitled to place a complaint.
If it was F2P most people that do not like it would simply move on as you say, but it is not, people paid for this and you expect them to just forget about it? This is a product like any other, and the dissatisfied consumer has the right to express their discontent of it.
So please, do a reality check first.

When you pay for something, you are "entitled" (try spell check) to what you pay for. Your argument is full of crap. Whether it's F2P or not, you can complain about the product just as if it were a bad meal.
Problem is, in this area, you need much more "try before you buy"
