Hell yes, the stories are amazingly well done and it will probably take me 6 months or so to go through all 8. I do hope they have an agressive update plan, but content wise there is more than most MMOs have years after launch. As much as WoW no, but way more than WoW at launch. The inquisitor story is so delightfully eviland sith like. Totally top notch.

This could be a good sign that the WoW grip from Blizzard on the genre is loosening. I know alot of people in Rift from WoW who still have not gone back. TOR is just another hit. Now just tell Bioware to add some basics and we could have a horserace here.
Yes, I have every intention of subbing. I understand a lot of the complaints against the game; WOW in space, too linear, too many cut scenes, etc... I understand why some people may have those complaints, especially the sandbox players. However, for me, the overriding factor is that I'm having fun! I'm willing to concede that part of it is just because it's a Star Wars MMO, but if that's part of why I'm having fun...so what? I'm still having a good time and I'm in a Guild with a good group of people who are also having fun.
What the hell.. you are not going to go through ALL the stories dude... because with every character you'll need to go through all the side quests that you went through with all the other characters of the same faction...
No story in the gaming world is worth grinding through all those "kill x mobs" quests...
***Darth Rabbid has conquered the galaxy...now about those child support payments to Satel Shan for his 5 little rabbids......***
All my opinions are just that..opinions. If you like my opinions..coolness.If you dont like my opinion....I really dont care. Playing: ESO, WOT, Smite, and Marvel Heroes
I am having the most fun I have in an MMO since Lotro Shadows of Angmar. The group quests are awesome, it never takes more than 2 minutes to get a group together (I am a healer so that helps). The crafting is fun. It is a overall a really good MMO and way better than anything out there atm.
Been playing since beta and was one of the first in early acess and still loving the game, bought six months sub so yes, i will be playing for atleast that long!
No but then again I did not buy it. I have been in the beta since early into the beta process, I was I think the the second group they brought in. Anyway I played it a ton in beta and I was disappointed form the start becuase Bioware and EA promised us something never before seen in MMOs and they delivered us the same old MMO experience with a Star Wars skin and voice over.
Now this does not mean i think it is a bad game, it is not. The game play is solid and I am sure a lot of people will enjoy it but it is really just more of the same. In the case of SWTOR is was not the force but the Hype that was strong.
One other thing, there are tons of quests so people say that you have to so the same quests with every toon is not totally correct. With my first character I did all the quests on coruscant and that gave me enough xp to skip all non story quests on Taris. So with my next toon I will skip lots of Coruscant and do Taris. So you will be doing different quests if you choose.
If I'm still enjoying the game then yes I will keep my subscription going. However if I'm not enjoying the game anymore I won't. It's just that simple, no need to over complicate it.

Well, if you're looking for an accurate picture of the game's quality, I think asking at the end of Jan. would be a better reflection. Once the lookie-loos are gone (30 days free) who never intended to sub under any circumstance, you can probably get a much more accurate picture.
But hmm, right now it looks like a sub for me. Glass is half full, not half empty.
Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.
The game made me regret the 50E purchase already on the second day.
If I'm sitting in front of my computer, mouse in my right hand, keyboard in my left hand, I want to play, i.e. control my character, and NOT to watchpoorly executed cut-scenes and dialogues. Poorly executed is a feeble word, they are in fact laughable, amateurish, and do not belong to this genre. The "--waiting for other members--" message when in group is simply a creation of an insane mind.
The stories are uninteresting, the gameplay is on rails, the world is an illusion, graphics are outdated and extremly cartoony, lots of UI options are missing (why can't I turn off the automatic camera resetting for heaven's sake), where the hell did the 130$ milions go?

Yeah you can ussualy break it down into a few catagories and I am sure Bioware has this info as well
1. People only there for the first 30 days
2. People looking for a good first impression
3. People who believe the game will get better, so they will sub to find out
4. Fanboys going to sub no matter what happens
5. People watching from the outside to see what subs look like in a month
6. People only sub'd as long as their guild is playing and will leave if they do
7. Haters who wanted TOR to be a sandbox and never intend on playing
^ Break down down into a pie chart or whatever you want. Most of us fall into the above.
I just feel like I'll get my experience of SWTOR within the first month and it isn't worth a monthly subscription. SWTOR just feels more like a coop game you play every once in awhile for a laugh with your mates. It doesn't feel like an MMO world where I want to spend my time in for months at a time paying a subscription for it. If the game was F2P then I'd carry on playing it on and off every once in awhile, I just cannot justify paying a subscription so I wont be playing.
I agree.
Imo, it would have been a much better F2P model.
I have already canceled my sub, basically citing the same things in the reason.

I honestly beleive it shouldn't be a F2P even though I agree with everything else. Far as money if people say it doesn't deserve a sub fee per month I'd agree 1000000000000000000(infinite zeros)%
I might get banned for this. - Rizel Star.
I'm not afraid to tell trolls what they [need] to hear, even if that means for me to have an forced absence afterwards.
P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)
Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.

F2P is a gimmick anyways and ends up costing more because so much content is restricted. All the so called F2P mmos like EQ2, CO; CHO etc i get my money's worth is by sticking to monthly plan. So F2P or not i still end up paying a monthly sub because it is very cheap that way.
So even if SWTOR goes F2P tomorrow, makes no difference to me.
Right now I'm leaning yes I will subscribe, but there's still 4 weeks to go on the free month so who can really say what their final decision will be right now?
Nooo.. but you have to tell it now because if you say you will not subscribe next month..i would feel better about myself; ;p

absofreakin-lutely. I've been playing in beta since October, and haven't felt an ounce of TOR fatigue.
