I can not find any information about required hardware. Does anybody know something about this ?
This all looks like needing much resources... anyway, if they keep what they promise and if the gamplay is not fully dumb then this could be a great game.

The current recomended specs are 1.8ghz CPU with a GF4 or ATI equivalent GPU, but that may change.
The engine is very scalable and can run on lower-end CPUs and GPUs and of course RAM makes a difference, but dont know what the recomended is, sorry
No, you cannot "turn off trees"...would be nice to have an option to "remove obstacles". It would make life a lot easier for travel...but dont think that would go over so well
