For me, it would be the character creator. It is just awful for a 2012 game, and I love robust character creators no it's doubly-awful for me.
If you could change or add one aspect of the game, what would you change and why?

P2P ... should be a B2P game.
I would ditch the current space game they have because it is horrible. I'd then put a fully 3D space combat PVP game like Battlefront did.
Group "let's watch a movie" cutscenes.
It was disturbing the 1st time, annoying the second and from that on I didn't wait for groupmembers to click ready but spacebared the VO alone.
Responsive combat.

P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)
Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.

my first we be a better and redone class system.. the class system and talent trees used are so basic so horribly familiar I just can't stand them. Honestly ANYTHING would have been better if it looked like they actually put any extra effort or thought into a least the talent trees i could accept it. But really its bad in so many ways..
Second would be better starting planets.. starting planets need to give new gamers a better sense of what the game is about and the starting worlds are so bland so linear just so horrible compared to the planets that come after them.. especially Hutta.. my favorite class by far is Bounty Hunter but going through hutta for a third time now is honestly torture..

I've got 3 things, in no particular order:
1. The Galactic Market (auction house) is just painful to use. Needs a search function desperately.
2. UI customization.
3. Overlappping planets during the levelling process---want more choice in this regard.
I've had zero issues with combat responsiveness, so I think that's a non-starter. Any issues with that has been strictly due to lagging in PvP only. The player customization thing isn't a big deal to me personally. There is enough there so that not everyone looks alike, although more body types would be good. And the space combat offers enough XP and rewards where it is worth it to do it every day. Also, I'm fairly confident that it will be expanded into something pretty cool, and hopefully free-form, in the future. If it hasn't changed within a year, then I'd add that to my list as well.

something along the lines of Eve even if not as complicated or full loot, but still something where you could float arround in space and pvp with. something that would allowe you to damage or even destroy other people's ship wile they were travelling. then they would have to either repair or buy a new ship once they dock. there could be secure space and un-secure space of course.
just...anything more then the crappy space combat they have now.
add in game voice comunication all the other games have it, right now I am having to use team speak, im like wtf. That is the only downside.
