Try on vacation for 2 weeks from my job, playing in the house that I own with my gorgeous wife. And I'm in my late 20s.
I was also in first thing in the morning on the first day of prelaunch.
That would be me too if I hadn't used 3 weeks of PTO for my honeymoon earlier this year. I'm 31 on my commando and probably about 40+ hours played I'd have to check, at work atm.

Yeah, I'm back to work now too Luckily I get one more day off on monday, so I'm hoping to get some good play time in over the weekend.
character level: 40 ( + two meaningless level 2 alts)

No wonder you defend the game so religiously, you practically live in it. We're talking close to 35 hours a week here. Is this a secondary job? Or do you have an actual job? lawls...

A friend of mine has 2 max level characters and is working on his third character, living on his own, never took a day off work in fact worked 50 hours on the first week of head start, and never lost any sleep over the game. Sounds more like a lot of people are just playing the game too slow.
43 Sith Assassin. Playing since 3rd day of EGA. Loads of pvp, valor rank 40. Not too many quests, just the class ones. No heroics, a couple FP's. Playing every waking hour when not at work.

You people with vacation time left at the end of the year MAKE ME SICK!! You just wait until the new year starts and I have some PTO to take again!
(DISCLAIMER - The use of the word YOU in the above post is not directed at any one person in particular, but towards those who fall into the category itself - there is no personal attack here, neither intentional nor implied.)
Character level: 26 and a few bars into 26 already. Smuggler ---> Gunslinger, specced Saboteur.
/played: 4 days, 18 hours, 5 minutes = 114 hours rounded off. I started on the 14th.
Average time per level: 4.38 hours
activities:
PvP valor rank: Rank 1 0/1000. I don't like PvP.
Space missions: Less than 10 total. I finally started doing them last night after having bought some upgrades for my ship.
Flash point activity: I think...3.
Heroic quests: All the ones I've come across up to and including Taris, after Taris I've probably done two or so.
Crewskills: Biochem 183, Bioanalysis 203, Diplomacy 98. I dropped Slicing for Diplo as it gives me reagents for Biochem. Slicing was somewhere close to 200.
Playing style: Laid back, stopping and smelling the flowers as I go, grouping up with friends whenever I'm in the mood for it, I read lore entries depending on my mood, exploring. Also codex entries hunting but can't 100% some planets due to bugs or heroic world boss.
average time per level: Not sure about this, been 50 a long time now
activities:
pvp valor rank: 5 - PvP is horrible in this game (and most MMO's) so I avoid it. I play LoL, Dota, HoN, CS, BF3 and such for PvP
space missions: 20ish? I have full epic ship, or as many epics as are available and the missions are very easy. But pointless. No bonus is provided to your character outside of the space missions so I don't do them much.
flash point activity: Daily Hard Modes - Clear 3 of them on average per day.
heroic quests: Did the first few, but I leveled pretty fast so not many people to assist me on them. I've completed the story and bonus series on every planet however
crewskills: 400 cyber, 400 scav, 400 under world, 400 biochem, 400 Bioanalysis... I've been trying them out and they all pretty much suck. Fortunately at 50, with 5 missions at one time, they level very quickly.
playing style: I work from home, so the game is always up on one machine while i'm email/gotomeeting/working on another 2. I'm all about seeing the content and playing the game. Unfortunately 1-49 was a blast, but 50 has been pretty stale with daily missions and repeating same heroics every night. But hey, what else can an MMO have once you've finished the game? Not like Bioshock, Mass Effect, or any other game story driven PvE game has something to do after you beat it!
in preparation for this game I built a new computer...2 actually, one's a HTPC because I wanted to play this game in 3D on my 73" TV, but alas they didn't optimize this game for that, so it wasn't a good experience. I bought one of those nagas for MMO's. I pre-ordered the CE on day one, and the lucky part was I had vacation already planned for the end of the year!
I started playing on the 13, and I've been on vacation since the 15. So, I thought I'd max out, with all that play time available to me, but I went a few days here and there without playing, and finally quit a couple of days ago...just got bored with it. They say I still have around 18 days on my account, but everytime I think about logging in, I ask myself why?--There were times I'd log in and just stand there until I got booted, so I should be at a higher level.
I tried a few warzone matches (I suck btw), and maybe did 4 ship missions...I think I got archeology around 200, I can't remember my artifice and treasure hunting scores. I would hunt imps or datacrons when I got bored of the grind, but even that got old.
Now there's nothing to do but wait and see if they have anything planned for this game that will get me interested again.
I have about 5-6 pieces of champion gear, 2 of which are the actual set, still need chest, helm, belt.
If you have multiple 50's already you do not have a high valor level. If you do not have a high valor level then be prepared to be rolled over once most of us hit valor 60.

Yeah sure, two max characters with a fulltime job ....this is not possible to achieve without any tricks. I did talk to one lvl 50 some days before and asked him he did reach his lvl so fast: he did play 14 hours a day nonstop !

So, that one level 50 guy is the representitive of all level 50's now? Dang, better get that guy on here then so we can ask him about his great leveling skills. lol
Been playing since the day before release (previous Monday).I have an Assasin at 18 and a Mercenary at 16. I work weird hours so my play time fluctuates. But im in no rush. I mostly do all the quests I can and have recently got into the crafting aspect. Loving it
Bout the same as me Kt.
I have remade characters several times now cause didnt like their look. I also went with all empire on one server(guy and gal of each class to make 8 total), and republic on other. The reason I did this is that I prefer to do all my trades myself if possible, and cant trade between the 2 factions.
My highest char has slicing/scavanging/diplomat all over 100 thus far.
Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget.
Made it to Lvl 19 on a Trooper/Commando and 16 on a Inquisitor then pretty well unsubbed. Learned a bit from the experience. I'm not as big of a Star wars fan as I once was, linear gameplay is very stifling to me and I don't really care for the Bioware formula of gameplay any more (talk for an hour, shoot something, talk for another hour.)
I realize I'm in the minority on this and can understand how others (including my wife) are really enjoying it, its just not for me.
Level 50 Sith Assasin in something like 5 days played time. It would have lasted longer if I wasn't spacing through the menial sidequest storylines. But that would have made the game too tedious for me.
Since hitting 50 I've only been motivated to collect the datacrons. I did get to knock a rebel scum off of the ballon on tattooine. That was fun. Until they fix end game customization, I'm not really interested in that kind of gear grind.
Level 34 SI Sorc in 72 hours, play with the wife usually, and do most the quests on the planets, so I am sure if we moved on with the class line more, and on to new planets faster we would get more bang for our time, but I am in no huge hurry.....

Hey nothing wrong with a game binge now and then . I'm 31 and I still do it every now and then. Especially if my wife is at work or something.
Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?
