Is Rift really F2P

Front Page and in the section  marked 'Free2Play' is the game Rift.

I clicked the link and i was greeted with a message that i can play this game for 7days then i need to sub, surely this Rift game should belong in the trials section or has f2P got a new meaning now?.

Just checked on Steam and they are selling Rift for £20 with no word of F2P.

Does anyone else think that this is a con?.

    You just misunderstood.

     

    On front page it writes "Free to Play OR Download" that does not mean all those games are F2P...

     

    You can dl and play Rift for some time even if it is short.

     

     

    Rift is P2P game.

    ya they grabbed the f2p mean and tagged it instead of the 7 day trial ((hoping to attrack customer by this skeem)it is free for 7 days!
