Completely sure - the big news from the Mortal Pulse is that Trade Tools are coming with the new Expansion.
the Big News that Henrik has mentioned is a different thing all together!!!
Mortal Pulse was on THURSDAY - Henrik's big announcment - is FRIDAY (I hope).
Someone post a transcript of the pulse... what is going to be in the 'expansion'? (Expansion is a bad word to use imo, due to previous failure of the dawn 'expansion').
An auction house could have been coded over a year ago with littler effort by modifying the librarion code, or any of the existing vendors. Not impressed it took this long.
I can not agree with you more Psyko. I do not like MO's approach at economy. If there was a healthy population like there was at release then yelling at the bank for weapons would work. As it is now with the dismal pop, if you are yelling at the bank for armor or weapons, the only people hearing you is you or the random 1 person who walks in town or the 2-3 afkers. Whomever at SV thought it would be cool in this day and age not to have an auction house or trade tools of some kind at least a year ago should be fired. And player vendors are a joke.
Also calling basically an over haul to core systems an expansion is a joke. "Here guys we are attempting to fix ai/gui/pve we will call it an expansion instead of a fix which it is". I am sorry but I see it going the same route as EPIC/DAWN/TC pathces or every other patch SV gas done since release. Until they get a couple million to hire real programmers and not just modders or a new company buys it and takes over, it will not change. I do nto understand how people can think that they will all of a sudden learn how to code out of no where and stuff will change.
This is SV in a nutshell and anyone who believes it will all of a sudden change.
EDIT:
I had to meantion one more thing which is classic SV. I could understand them being arrogant if they had a good funcioning game. But I remember this from the HoC's and it sprng up in the pulse. A question about the horrible prediction was brought up and the answer was basically "hey people used to fly be happy we fixed that". Right now MO is a pvp deathmatch game. And when people are hitting you from 10 feet away or in your back when they are in front of you on your screen is retarded almost 2 years after release, especially with the team saying be happy because you do not fly anymore.
Who ever is in charge of MOs deisng is an extremely delusional person. I have said it before, I say it again. The original vision of a mmo without any kind of Auction house, mail system and chat system for the sake of harcore is a rediculous and amateur approach. There is casual. There is being userfriendly. Don't mix the two up, as MO does.
What is the point to avoid the whispers and guild chat (which they did implement in the end seeing how pointless it is to avoid them) if people use IM programs? It is also delusional to think you can have a blooming economy and trading without any kind of offlike trading or shop to present your services in a userfriendly manner instead of spamming yell and irc with "WTS Iron". Look at Eve, they are doing it right.
Anyways, to whomever is in charge of implementing the "trading tools", congratulations on learning the basic design of mmos, just took you couple of years. I am surprised players still pay for your trial and error learning.
It's time to show what I've been busy with this Friday. Tune in on the pulse and check it out!
Also, I hope someone actually kept the logs of what was asked/answered, it would be very.. community unfriendly not to, which is why HoS chat was a better choice due to easy logs.

Another English fail from Heinrick
Theia, most people here dislike Heinrick because he can barely write a sentence that makes sense. Everything he writes can be interpeted in multiple ways.
Hence my reaosn for being here (although my English is starting to fail at this time of day too)

The number of lies at this discussion may surpass that in a session of Congress.
