they are doing their weekly maintenace on the 10th and you can likely expect a small patch but dont expect 1.1. they only just started testing it on the test server.
y true, they will probably deliver the patch in the last week of the month. The patch after that will bring new features for space combat i'm sure.
Great stuff in those notes, I am pleasantly surprised. Still some big ones to work out, but with how soon it is after release I am surprised at how much content this patch has in it. Makes me hopeful for more soon.
and if neither of those worked, perhaps try posting in this thread for a chance that they could help you with your issue
and something like that sounds more like something they would do in one of their smaller weekly patches the moment it is ready as oppsoed to waiting till a content patch
since i dont know issue your launcher is having dont know if this will hepl but here is another thread
So i had several issues with patch 27 and went through all the steps from bioware and still accomplished nothing finally i broke down and reinstalled swtor but i made sure to install into a whole new are for example i installed mine in the public folder on my pc. But before i could install and get it to work i had to go through my computer and clear every swtor file seems like if theres any old swtor files install wont work. After install patch worked just fine i hope this will help atleast one person.
edit 2: heres a thread that tells how to find any old files

I appreciate the response; however, I've combed all those threads and nothing seems to work aside from tricking the game into thinking I have the patch via my .version files, but in reality im still missing a bunch of files and crash often/can't load because of it. All they need to do is make a place to manually download the patches and it's gg.

Yay! This is the one area that imbalance has really been coming in. I am glad that Bioware has decided to resolve the issue.
darth hater posted up a list of new things they data mined from patch 1.1
http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19853-datamined-changes-pts-build-1-1
and while its not a mount yet, you can have your very own tuan tuan follow you around
Patch 1.1 has also added 7 new vanity pets:
Taunlet
Taunta
Taunling
http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19855-ptr-database-site-launched
now the only question is, when they get big enough, can we sleep in them to stay warm
All this, yet still no fix for those who can't even patch the game. Fix game-breaking but that's been here since beta? Nah, more vanity pets, please.

is this the issue where you patch and it says you need to repair then starts dowloading 10 gig plus files?
I just let it run, took twice to get it right and on the second try it just downloaded aout four gig then I got the play button.
Another person had a fix where you release your Ip and then renew and that seemed to work for another player.
Open Start Menu then type: cmd and run it
then in the box that opens type:
ipconfig /release
then:
ipconfig /renew
this seems to work for some.
