Horses.. ? GriffenS? there's something wrong.

I noticed that when you're flying a griffen on eq2 it doesnt feel real - compared to WoW where it does.
The movements, the way and style the griffen fly's in everquest2 realy dissepointed me because it looks like a bad copy of one of the old magic and myhem series when you see the fly-style of a griffen it really lacks in both quility and performance. And thats exact same with a horse. I CANT stand it,

The griffons fly like they are drunk beyond belief.
2 words - Straight Line. It's the shortest distance between A and B, and since people mostly use the griffons as a mean to cut down travel time, they're not too interested in seeing every single sight there is to see along the way.
I have no idea what you are talking about with how the animations compare to that other game since I have never played it, but I think the grifs and horses look pretty good. However, I also don't like "cartoony graphics" so my opinions are apparently wrong on how EQ2 looks, or so I have been told.
One thing about the horses that I WOULD like to see is selectable size. I don't like that the animal is proportional to your player size. Ogres should be able to rides ponies, gnomes on Clydesdales (spelling).

In Antonica one, if not the most populated zones on any server the griffin actually flys through a tree.
if you have played WoW and EQ2 both you know what the OP meant.

addressing a valid complaint is not whining. Horses look like paper cut outs and the gryphon is about as annoying as they come.
Don't let the fan bois get to you, this is their whole life, for most of us, it is an amusing diversion from our life. I can not count the amount of people I hear every time I log in complaining about those bloody gryphons. And I agree.
If you want a new idea, go read an old book.
In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.
Whats the big deal, I saw very little difference between EQ2 and WoW griffens, WoWs are a bit better. But once you ride one a few times, you could really care less how they look.
