Any good fishing games out there?

I remember playing FISHING CHAMP a year or two ago, and even though it was just fishing it was fun as hell. Does anyone know of any good fishing games, where you actually have to reel in the fish, with a chance of failure?

Sega Bass Fishing for the Dreamcast was my favorite. I wonder if you can get it for pc?

I could get a ROM but I was thinking more along the lines of a fishing MMO

yeah, I have been waiting for this game to hit the united states for like a year already. Don't think it's going to happen.

Fishing Hero was awesome, but due to a low player base cause of not enough advertising it closed in November  :(  Was an outstanding F2P game.  Sucks ........

    nice find

I just want to give this a +1.

I've always been a dedicated crafter in my MMO past and have particularly enjoyed fishing in the games with well-developed systems (I was an avid FFXI fisher for years).

I started playing World Tour Fishing seven days ago and have spent at least 30 hours this week playing it.  I've even won a fishing competition (regularly scheduled server-wide fishing contests go on throughout the week).

The game is free to download and does have a cash shop, but I've played without spending anything so far with no problems.  I probably will spend some money in there soon though, more so to support the game than to have any of the items.

If anyone enjoyed fishing in any of the MMOs they've tried, or maybe even if they didn't and want to see how fun fishing can be if it's done right, this game is really fun.

Archeage has a pretty deep fishing system in it, you have several levels of fishing rods with wooden / copper / iron wheels and different kind of lines / baits , you can also have a fishing "chalutier" / ship to go fish on the open sea and get bigger fishes, i was surprised by the range of skills to "fatigue" the big fishes (turning the rod to the left, to the right, using the wheel to release or shorten the line, leave the fish go, or "fight" him whenever you have to, also using skills to counter it...)

The main problem with this game is that fishing like everything else is limited in play by working point, if it hasn't work points that limit you in your activities this game would be one of the best.

Is this still in beta? One page says join the beta, while the main page doesn't say much of anything.
