First of all sorry for my english i know its not perfect :P, well apart from instancing/zoning (which im pretty much okey with that since ive been a long time AoC player), all the feelings i got from this game can be pretty much sum up by saying this is not fresh at all.
Even though i hate comparing to WoW, this one had its prime time and most of the features it had were fresh and outstanding for most of the people running it through vanilla, and i am comparing to this becuase this is just a weird WoW-like game, more focused to single driven story-lines, i dont know it just doesnt feel right for a MMO. Combat is OK (same dull concept tho), PvP is fun but is far away from AoC PvP on its gold-age, but one thing i cant really stand, is the lifeless feeling the world gives to you, i mean we are supposed to be in the next gen of mmos, if this is what we get for a sub, im certainly not paying anymore, it makes me feel like 'meh' when im logging in, so thats my opinion about the game, well hope you are having fun with this, inb4 Guild wars 2 tho!

Might I make a suggestion that the devs make one thread for people to post that they cancelled their account today. That way we don't have all these different threads of people saying how and why they felt the need to that open up the floor for all the haters to have a pop.
If people don't like TOR then they're welcome to their opinions, but they have to sound them at every beck and call, and there's plenty of them with threads like this popping up hourly. I used to do the same on the Rift forums and got warned for it. I now realise how bitter I looked.

Everything I say is my opinion or personal preference. You may or may not find it useful to your cause but regardless I am entitled to it.
It's fully understandable that someone who didn't like a product they payed good money for wanted to let someone know it. What I don't get is why do you feel the need to post it here? Why not at the people who made the game? Last time I had a bad meal, I didn't walk over to another restuarant down the street and yell at their chef.
Here's a secret, if your intent is to make bioware aware of it, your unsubbing did that. If it's to warn others of what you think is a bad game. That's already been done quite extensively, they got the message. Oh and if you think I'm a fanboi, I didn't even buy the game FYI.

That's cool friend, I'm keeping my sub running, just thought you'd propably want to know that so, yeah, staying subbed. Do you think I should make a separate thread to inform people of this? I'm not sure, there would be bunch of others who are keeping their subs throwing some similar one liners agreeing with and all that, and then there would be a couple of haters telling me that I have wrong kind of taste when it comes to games and all that boring crap + Yamota spamming about the one single "review" that didnt give good grade for the game as if it would make any difference to anyone who has made their mind about the game already for good or worse.
Hmm, tough decision, any ideas how to proceed?

i wonder, what do people think, they will achieve by letting everyone know they canceled their accounts! do they really feel that important, that somehow they may think, that by letting us all know, we will follow them like blind sheeps and do the same?

I do care. That game is one big fail. Like long time player, I am testing all new games when they come and I have to say, this is one of the most boring which I did play. From begging it's ok, but after some time, just boring. It's year 2012 and the game should looks like that, they have to, with all other MMO rivals around.
You guys call us haters, but haters aren't paying for what they hate. Also you are telling us that it's new game and we should give a time to it. Why? I am paying real money for it, full price, so why should I wait for quality.
I will compare it with Car business. You have many Car companies/brands (BMW, Mercedes, VW and so on) They are all making cars and they are still doing better and better. And that's fucking logic, because if you want success on the market, you have to have all what your rivals have and maybe more!!!! That's Alpha and Omega of all.
Managers of this game companies are always speaking about great efforts which they did and how they want for us and for their game the best, but that are just lies and manager's bullshit!!!! Always, all what they care are just money. They don't like you/us, they aren't our friends, they want money from you/us, just pure business. If they will like you or be your friend, they will let you play for free. I Tomas Tyser say, Don't pay, for poor quality! It's our money, real money and we have to work to make it. Some of us (not me) has to work really hard to make money. So use them welI and get only the best for them. If you will not, then you are fanboy(ok, I can understand to fans, but don't agree) or just stupid.
From my point of view, haters or ppl who are telling, or are trying to tell the true(because you, stupid ppl and funboys are still trying to sillence them and bully them in every forum) are only one ppl who really care for success of game. Many times, this ppl have many years of gaming experience, and they know, what will force them to stay or leave. Problem is, that man kind is always listening to bad ppl ( maybe because their way/opinion is the easier and not so difficult to follow)
That's how I feel it. Sure, many of you will not like it, but that's life.

I was really worried and losing sleep over whether or not you would resub. I am so glad you have posted this so I can move on with my life.
I am keeping my sub but have no plan to create a special, just for me thread about it.
OK, why keep my sub. First and foremost, I am having fun. I like the method of Bioware story telling. I will not put in any spoilers but in leveling my Trooper Vanguard (46th level) I have had to times in the game where I have stared at the screen trying to decide how to respond and there are actually times where my decisions have had tangeable impacts on my story.
I find Flashpoints to be way better and more fun than Dungeons in WOW or RIFT (as examples). I am in a large guild who actively groups for things and has scheduled RAID events for Operations.
When I hit 50, I will do these things with the guild, do some dailies, and then go play another story to 50. Plus, they are expanding the game already and have robust plans to keep things moving along.
So again, now that the worry of you staying is off my back I will go and enjoy the game.
I canceled as well and went back to wow. Playing wow last night felt so unrestricted i ran around for about 20 minutes in any direction and then straight into another zone, jumped on my mount and flew over 4 others, FREEEEEEDOM!
Even though i canceled I'll re-sub to this game again one day, i certainly don't hate it. The tunnel running gets to you after awhile, and finally when you think you hit a great big open zone, you know get some freedom to explore, wtf? "exhaustion zone run back" you have got to be kidding me.

1. I would of preferred more photo realistic graphics
2. I would like to see some high res textures that were in beta

No problem talking about issues with the game but to say "I quit" is nothing but attention seeking and for drama and is not productive.
you sir are so full of it, is not even funny. first of all. if you really hate swtor, if it is so bad and all that. why would you need to waste your time to write a lenghty post to begin with? my conclusion out of the whole thread is. that you seriously need attention to somehow, make yourself feel somewhat relevant. in a world where most people probably just ignore you or even hardly notice you. kinda sad if you ask me!
i have canceled myself many mmo subscription in the past, and i never felt the need to post about it. when i no longer like a game or dont have fun, the logical and more practical thing would be to just quit and never look back.
the reason you are writing about it and search for support among other gamers in this website, clearly shows you, you are ither trolling or desperately looking for attention one way or another.
Guild Wars 2 isn't gonna fix anything. It's just another MMO, so don't get your hopes up.
The feeling you miss is a feeling you will never get from an MMO again. It was your first experience through an epic world with quests and interacting with other people.
My suggestion is: Play a game that your friends play. There is nothing worse than playing an online game all by yourself.

Companies used to have a motto: If you are satisfied, tell your friends. If you are not tell us. Well this doesnt go for Developer houses for MMO's. They never listen, and either way they designed their products kinda like painting themselves into a corner. They are stuck with it.
And since they never listen. Customers use forums like this to get tell if they like the product or not.
To me SWTOR is mediocre, i doubt i will play it past the 3-6 months mark. There are other games in the pipeline, like GW2, TSW, etc. I think TSW will be my next try for a MMO that will capture my intrest. LOTRO was the last one. But the ever grind for higher levels content just dont cut it for me. TSW have no classes, no levels and three factions. Thats enough to get my intrest and curiosity.
