Cancel Button Missing?!

Where is the cancel button?  On my sub page it says I have no sub/no game time... yet if I open up sub details..there's a reoccuring payment ready to go, but no cancel.

 

Am I missing something?

    Great no one cares that the cancel button is actually not there...... the only thing I was able to do was remove my credit card... but its still listed under reoccuring subscription....

    The idea is that they will rely on the 'stolen' month they get prior to making it easier to figure out, and then hoping that the majority of people it happens to let it slide without demanding refunds or contacting some bureau to press weight on them to do so. Every businessman has seen this angle before, when it comes to renewing subs.

    Look for a way to remove your CC info, can't charge you if it's not there.

    I saw this too. If you go to your payment methods you can delete them using the little x in the corner. They can't take money without a payment method. Seems a bit of a scam.

    That's what I did... but its still listed under reoccuring...

     

    If I have to challenge this at least I took screen shots.  Their help section is also bogus... kinda pissed.

    You will be billed on 01.27.2012.




    We have a VISA ending on file.

    I just checked, the button is there: Account Management, Subscription:

    There are a series of buttons and the last one is to cancel.

    Your best bet at this point, since it looks like they're conveniently hiding the cancel function, is to call your credit card company and tell them that you want them to deny any future charges to your card claimed by EA or Bioware. Explain to them that there is no ability to cancel your subscription to the game at this moment.

    Might wanna contact customer support over this. OR your bank and just tell them not to let the MMO charge your card :D

    By law it has to be, but it's always in a place hidden enough to not find it until you threaten a customer support member... then you tend to feel kind of dumb that it *was* hidden in plain sight. They still make money because of it though, betchu ass.

    When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

    I don't play it, but this wouldn't be the first time this has been brought up (for many other games as well) - and I stick by my point about business minds vs cuckold consumers.

    Thank you for the link. I didn't buy the game, but it was fun to preemptively cancel my subscription.

    Good luck. You can also request a refund if for some reason you aren't able to cancel your subscription and you get charged.

    It can be something about your net browser, I'm using Firefox 9.0.1 and it's working. Try using it.

    I used the link that someone posted in this thread and was able to cancel.  Will post screen shots in a sec.
