Here is one question/answer that really sounds cool.

What in Istaria is a Welger?

Welgers are a large race of creatures that have been subjugated by the Withered Aegis. Players will first encounter them as opponents, bent upon the destruction of the Nine Living Races. Later, if players can successfully counter the spell that binds them, the Welger will become available as a race during character creation. I’m being deliberately vague about their appearance and history, since that will be revealed within the game.

Oh yes...I had read something about them before..about how they are a subjugated race and must be freed before being played...sounds like there is going to be so much to do in this game...thats really cool

 

I am also so glad that David Bowman over at AE is so forthcoming with communicating with those of us waiting for this game!!

That's what I like about this game so far.  I've been following the progress for 3 1/2 years, and am dancing with anticipation for this game to come out.

I was most impressed with the fact that he told the public about some of the technical difficulties they were having, instead of just trying to hide it and act like everything was going smoothly.  I'd much rather here the truth, even if it is bad news.

You are very right...he is straight and up front....with everything and I think that it speaks to the level of play that this game will hold- he seems to have very high standards and that can only speak wonders for the game.
