So the UI change, something that should of came at release?
/facepalm.
Honestly I don't know why people are excited by this, nothing really pops out compared to most big updates, added in the fact that its 'in the next months' means its probably not all going to be at once and pretty well spread out from now. A nice attempt I guess at keeping people, just wish they tried actually doing something big if they really want to keep people.
Damn if they do and damn if they don't. Complainers gonna complain no matter what. If they had all these features at launch i bet you would find others things to complain about.

So with the Legacy system, it seems they never intend players to play alien races like Rhodian? How exactly does that work. How can a Rhodian or say a Tradoshon be a part of say a human family legacy - that is assuming Bioware allows for the eventual play of alien races?
Did the concept of "adoption" never cross your mind?

Assuming does only one thing, and you should know better.
The video doesn't really address my main concerns. The quickest thing they could implement to get me on board the pve side would be a Dungeon Finder that ports you to the instance. I love the idea of being anywhere I want, doing dailies, questing and just queue up for an instance. When the instance is done I'm back where I was and can keep going.
Also, how does adding new warzones fix the faction imbalances? How is Bioware going to address the faction imbalances on the servers?
Faction imbalances in two faction RvR cant be fixed. WAR proved that and it is strange Bioware didnt learn from their misstake.
WOW never fixed it either. Wintergrasp was a failure as the tenacity buff didn't work. Tol Barad just meant that the outnumbered faction got to play it a lot and the other faction barely got in. Blizzard claims that MoP will bring back world PvP but I doubt they have the faction imbalances worked out.

IGN: Can you explain what the Legacy system is meant to be?
James Ohlen: What we're giving at ship is basically just a taste of the Legacy System. It's allowing you to essentially choose your legacy name, essentially your family name. You're creating a family, and you can populate that family with children or siblings, but you can also populate it with friends and henchmen. Even though it's part of a family you can still have aliens or people that aren't actually related to your other characters.

Adding a third faction would be a way to go...
Agreed, allowing smugglers and bouty hunters to be "neutral" would have solved a lot of problems.
Allowing everyone to be nuteral would be the best thing. Wasn't there Jedi in the KOTOR games that were Nuteral?
Also I wish you can become like a fallen Jedi or Sith that turns to the Light side. Cuz I love the Mirialan race but you can't be one if your Darkside.
Is this an extract from an interview ? Either James Ohlen was talking to an offscreen interviewer (who was edited out), or else he was reading everything off a teleprompter. In that case, he didn't have time to memorize a single line, lol, because his eyes are absolutely fixed on someone or something offscreen.
"You are the people who decide..." but he doesn't look directly at the camera ? Eye contact with the viewer would have been a nice touch there.
Afaik all these features had been talked about previously ? The video doesn't give any timeframe for implementation, just "in the next few months", so nothing really new here afaik.

I'll take "things that should have been in at launch" for $1000, Alex.

I chose "planned", but on second thought I'd say the UI and PvP blurbs were rushed.

Rush job, without a doubt.
