Alright i just cleaned my pc and crap and thinking about tryin to get my CPU to do 4.0ghz

I have a pretty standard market heat sink nothing speical

It currently on the preset of super boost i think running at 3.7ghz not sure tho, This is the temp of everything when im doing nothing just on the internet. Goes around 30-38c  and then .900-1000v

Then when im on BF3 this is how everything looks

The weird thing is when im on my BIO's the temp is higher on there then it is when im on Windows

Think i should try to over clock it to 4.0?

If you only know how to measure CPU temperatures at idle and not at load, then maybe you shouldn't.

First off - do not adjust voltage.

I know a lot of sites tell you that you need to tweak on voltage to get a good over clock. Don't do it. At least not until your willing to take the risk of destroying your CPU and possibly motherboard.

It's relatively benign to over clock your CPU with stock voltages. When you start raising voltages, you can do serious harm and break stuff.

Aside from that - you can ~probably~ get 4G easily out of that chip (or at least very close), without any voltage adjustment at all, so long as it is not the stock heat sink.
