    All the issues this game is having will come back to haunt BW/Mythic/EA.

    A company this size with this amount of money only has one plan when creating an MMO at this caliber and that is to reach the success that Blizzard has.  They have already started losing players in their first month so I guess its back to the drawing board.

    The game is mediocre and will entertain me for a couple of months at the most.

    To be honest, even if i hated the NGE. It start to look pretty good now....

    Whats the logic behind this? Obviouly you can't find it mediocre if it not only keeps you entertain but that you'll sub to it for a couple more months.

    First of all i didnt say it suck. And even if i mean the game is mediocre doesnt mean its not playable. I mean for me its not something that will keep me as a paying customer after i have played the class stories of my choice.

    Dude its not like either you sub for life or you cancel after the free month....

    I must agree with your opinion of SWTOR it is quite correct. The game has so far kept me entertained for the Beta and one free month, I had thought of buying a three month sub but quickly canceled for the one month sub.  Reason being.... I'm getting very bored and feel that in another month I just won't bother with it at all. To top that I hear they even have a date in mind to axe the mmo  already?.... 2025 Bioware stated. (thats if it doesn't get booted before then and EA and Bio take their staff onto other projects they have in production).

    Kinda what I stated sometime back... 80-100 mill to create....... 300mill in pre-orders/game sales/subs. Why pay staff more when their already 200mill in profit. Kinda reminds me of that movie, "The Producers" 1968 "Springtime For Darth Vader and the Empire". Kinda apt.

    Arguably both are wrong. Hardly epic fail, hardly epic win. Most things in the world are shades of grey TOR is no different though for me it is darker grey. I just wish it carried me until GW2 :( . Just played Bastion that is epic win which was a bit of a surprise tbh. Nice to know I have not become completely jaded by mediocrity.

    Im not convinced that they ever had a plan to reach WOW success regarding longevity and subscription numbers. All that talk of high budget production led everyone to believe that but what they did instead is a single player game with some extra coop content to justify the MMO title and charge subscriptions. Plenty of people invested years into WOW and it is impossible to break that bond with a game that has poor endgame and takes only a month to get there.
