Considering Buying The Come Here

I don't post on this website very often but i think i have to in this situation. 

I bought SWTOR on the 26th of December and now 1 month later i am level 46. I am not a hardcore player and have around 5 days worth of game time. 

If you are thinking of getting this game because it may be the next big thing and you don't want to miss out on a good start then don't worry about it. YOU AIN'T MISSING ANYTHING.

The game is pretty damn bad IMO. I have tried to like it for the last month and i have got to say they have failed to keep me. I wanted to finish leveling and get to 50 but there are more complaints about end game than there is about bugs... AND THAT IS ALOT!

The game is very linear. They give you the option to be bad or good but in the end you still up going the same way and getting the same bloody items/quests. 

The pvp is so damn crap. The gameplay is far from the best. The servers are unbalanced so you end up playing HUTBALL 9/10 times. Which i tell you now is not fun.

I have unsubbed.

Take my advice and don't get this game unless you already know you want it. Then i don't know why you reading this is that is the case .

If you want to avoid Huttball all the time, don't roll empire. I love Huttball. Very team focused. Coordination is key. If you pug it all the time, you will lose.

If you don't like linear gameplay (many millions of people do like it) this is not the game for you.

Endgame is pretty rough right now, but it is constantly improving. They have added more content, fixed a LOT of bugs, and detailed future plans. The actual operations are fun in my opinion.


Saying this game is "bad" is purely opinion. Telling people not to buy it because of your poorly explained opinion is bad form. They might not share your views.

Explain why you feel this way and offer the other side of the coin to people if you are going to try to tell people what to do. For example, if you like quest driven, story based themepark MMOs, then this game is for you. If you don't like that, then this is not for you. If you want hardcore PvP focused game, then this is not for you. If you like a pve focused game, then this is a good pve game.


If you are going to try to pretend to know what people should do with their money, then for the love of god BE OBJECTIVE.

Not everyone thinks the same as you or likes the same things as you. Take those people into account or don't offer people advice on what to spend their money on. Simple as that.
