Private/free FFXI servers?

in Final Fantasy XI

Hi. I was wondering if there is such a thing as a private or free server for FFXI like there is for ragnarok, or at least a free option, as I think that the cost of playing the game is pretty steep.

    No there isn't and i doubt there will ever be. Its at least Average price for paying an moorpg.. and $12.50 which is aboput £7.60 is hardly alot of money per month... Even if you don't have a job or allowance you could skip lunch for a couple of days an boom theres your money for the month you need.
    It would be nice if these companies wern't so greedy, because when its all those people paying these prices, and paying for the game.. they are making a hell of alot more money than the quality of the game demands.. with all mmorpgs its the same... but hey thats greed for you.

    Was that a thought I just had, or and echo of a thought I was thinking of having?

    NO FREE SERVER POST EVER IN MMORPG FORUMS. Can't afford it, don't play it

    there aren't any free servers ! but this game isn't expensive , it is also woarth the money !
